Good luck with that.

I asked before but got mo answer.

You need about 1000 signatures to get it on the ballot and 2000 votes to remove Hummel. Are you going to come to PHX or just ignore the 1200 votes out here and try and do it just with east votes?

Because if so you are going to need 70% of the east to carry out your threat. Think you can get 70% to follow you?

You demanded answers from the CLT recall guys. How about you tell us who you are going to replace Hummel with?

Run crazy Cleary again?
McKee could not pull it off last time, going to run a loser again?

who are you going to replace Hummel with?

This doesn't happen often. But I agree with your post.

Now, where's the Pepto?

What will really be interesting are the results of the PHL rep election which closes on Thursday at 2 pm.

Will it go "one way," or the "other way." Or, will the PHL pilots "split" the representation again?

That will be interesting to see.

What am I missing?

If this MOU fails. The company has no obligation to negotiate.

The NAC is still the same NAC.
The BPR is still the same BPR.
The president is still the same president.

What is going to change?

You can "HOPE" all day long but it does not change the FACTS.

BTW!!!!! Welcome to a merger moron. All those thing you complain about are what happens in a merger. Things change. You don't get to lock yourself in your bases and keep all the goodies while the other side watches.

Maybe you are new to the airline industry.
The president will be recalled soon, and by the way "moron" this is merger 6 for me, you were probably in grade school for the first one..

APA INFORMATION HOTLINE

This is APA Communications Director Gregg Overman with the APA Information Hotline for Tuesday, Feb. 5.
................................................................................................................
The Board once again recessed late this afternoon and met in a subsequent caucus to further discuss the makeup of the seniority integration committee that will be formed in the event of an American Airlines-US Airways merger. The Board will reconvene tomorrow at 9 a.m. Central.

Six mergers and you still don't get it. Yet you're calling someone else a moron. Go figure.

I have a call into the NAC, but I presume that the 13.5% pre-merger would translate into a percentage of the new company. For instance if the successor were to offer the UCC 70 cents on the dollar, then a member of the UCC would see a return of 70% of the original investment. That's just a guess.

When I get a response, I'll try to tack in on this thread.

CB

According to a NAC the above is generally correct. The percentage of ownership will then be a percentage of whatever percentage the UCC ends up with.

If this MOU gave us these rates with or without the merger than yes, but as it stands its a NO

No MOU, they still merge, better pay raise for east group 2 and above, min fleet, attrition, saves the company a little money. Bad for 190 drivers and the west.

Congratulations. Majority rules the day.

You DO realize that this has no bearing whatsoever on the vote for the MOU, or the outcome of the seniority integration... Right?

Interesting that you are the LOUDEST (Big font and bold colors and all) cheerleader when something goes your way, but slither away in silence not to be heard from when you lose.

So that begs the question, if the MOU passes by a wide margin, and others come here and gloat to you with Big font and bold colors, will you congratulate your opponents and accept the will of the majority? Or does that only apply when you are in the majority? Serious question. Be honest.

Same goes for seniority. If in the end, we are victorious and the Nicolau award (or something very closely resembling it) is actually used in the APA/USAPA SLI, will you man up and congratulate the victors like an honorable man would? Or do you plan another temper tantrum? If the Nic is not used, I will gladly commit right here and now to be first to come here and admit that I was wrong and you were right. Same goes if the MOU fails. How about you?

Yes you are right it's DOH, at least we agree on that. The MOU will probalbly pass but not by as much as we originally thought. but keep your fingers crossed that it fails.

You didn't answer the question. Will you man up if they end up being right?

Personally I'm ready to move forward no matter how any of this cr@p works out. I'm certainly tired of guys with more mouth than they have sense.

Probably should wait and see how "respected" those committee members will be until after the trial. BTW I noticed you said many and not all are respected. Must be a couple on that committee that are not so respected.

$4 million with nothing to show for it might change some peoples minds.

I may be repeating myself, so if I am, I'm sorry it's been a long few weeks with a lot of personal struggles.

I only know two of the PIC members. One I have known casually since I was 15 years old. I respect his passion, but I don't always agree with him. The other knew my father and praised my Dad before I knew him. After I flew with him I had to say that he was one of the most underrated pilots and minds at this airline. He might not get it right in the end, but he has a greater grasp of the world than I do. There are not that many people that I would give that honor to.
