My career in PHX has been pretty good. It will be even better when I can bid the Captain seat in CLT, PHL or DCA as guaranteed by a final and binding seniority arbitration. The only thing that would make it truly better would be assessing damages to the parties responsible for this.

No growth in PHX (in fact having furloughed pilots still that had jobs when this mess started), while we have new hires in all the other bases. It actually concerns me that someone seems to be deliberately whipsawing one group against the the other. One might consider that collusion, let alone enabling.
Look in the mirror, slick and point. Then you'll have your man. Enjoy your CLT visit next week because that will be the closet you'll get to and East captain bid for several years yet to come.

It's always both heartwarming and inspirational to see such a fine and truly deserving specimen of selfless "Integrity", nobility of purpose, and of course "righteousness" to the very soul's core, properly expound on their personal enlightenment (or is that "entitlement"?) for the benefit of impure and lesser mortals everywhere... 🙂

Have fun in PHX "Sunshine". I understand that there's an unlimited amount of that there, to try and blow at people. 😉

its amazing how much i moved up in seniority on the last bid! nice to see some movement ... i got a 40$ hr raise! next bid is supposed to have another 120 new hires .

Awesome. You got yours. What exactly were you doing in May 2005? Were you working at the old US Air? Were you furloughed from the old US Air?

USAPA leverage: seniority solution over a contract solution. Without that premise integration is problematic.

He is well aware of that I'm sure, here's an idea why not bring JJ with you we can get him a large bucket of Bogangles which I know he likes.

Do i sense i tad bit of sarcasm? i can smell a 767 bid ... could you EXACTLY bid a widebody in may of 2005? not only are there butt loads of retirements for as far as we can see, but there is a need for more pilots for aircraft orders, new rest rules and this doesnt even address a training float ... which you probably dont know much about with a single aircraft fleet (5 757s dont count) ... and you are very welcome for the $5000 profit sharing check you will get next year. reality is a c**t !

The westerners cannot get it through their skulls the Nicolau is not going to be used. It does not have to be. There will be no harm. They are stuck in 2005. That was almost 8 years ago. It just does not matter. The only harm will be as a result of their stubborn refusal to face reality and get stuck in the desert. Time has moved on without them. The mentality is honestly stone aged.

A union breaches it's DFR if it's actions are either "arbitrary, discriminatory, or in bad faith". And the wide range of reasonableness must conform to the political landscape at the time of the decision.

That last part is what kills usapa. Absolutely no LUP, and using 2012 data to make an argument that by stealing West positions over the last 7 years with usapa's self hostage taking somehow justifies the ends of stealing all the West positions is laughable.

Mitch Vaselino, ace lawyer. Still no concept of ripeness. Still no grasp of internal union process. The last stand argument, "NO LUP"
