APA INFORMATION HOTLINE

This is APA Communications Director Gregg Overman with the APA Information Hotline for Tuesday, Feb. 5.
................................................................................................................
The Board once again recessed late this afternoon and met in a subsequent caucus to further discuss the makeup of the seniority integration committee that will be formed in the event of an American Airlines-US Airways merger. The Board will reconvene tomorrow at 9 a.m. Central.

How far behind the eight ball are the US Airways pilots now?

The APA is meeting to discuss seniority. We have a committee of one. An MOU that is "seniority neutral" A merger lawyer that does not represent 1/3 of the members. 2/3 of usapa refuses to accept binding arbitration.

So how is that DOH thing working out for you so far?

The president will be recalled soon, and by the way "moron" this is merger 6 for me, you were probably in grade school for the first one..

That makes you even more pathetic. If you have been through 6 mergers and still don't understand what it means to merge.

No MOU, they still merge, better pay raise for east group 2 and above, min fleet, attrition, saves the company a little money. Bad for 190 drivers and the west.
There are no better pay rates for east group II.

Oh you incorrectly think that CoC will be a factor. How cute.

But assuming just for your fantasy that you did get those rates. Who was it that got you those rates? usapa and the CLT reps or ALPA? How long do you think those rates would last? About as long as the parity plus 1% lasted. The APA will have us a new contract ASAP.

BTW where is Kasher's final answer to the loser LOA 93 grievance. You know that one that usapa did not prevail.

Never take the first offer you get to vote on!

It's NOT the first offer, Cupcake. It's the last offer (as stated by your attorneys), brought to you as a result of months of extreme negotiations by your NAC & Professional Negotiator Roland Wilder.

Vote it down smart guy and see what you get. This should be funny. The APA is watching in utter amazement.

US Air pilots: They never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

That, may just possibly be the most poorly executed attempt at a sales presentation that I've ever seen, although "Vote it down smart guy and see what you get." certainly sings whole operas to not only the intellect, but the very soul of man it's self! 😉 The subtle but passionate aria of "This should be funny" alone, makes me now rethink my vote in earnest!

You've previously attacked others for supposedly basing their judgments on emotions. Well...with your latest effort at "logic" here...I can assure you that you've nearly brought me to tears, and I can only offer my sympathy. Perhaps you could find redemption in some further explanation/expansion of what constitutes "extreme negotiations"....?

History repeats...
You can't fix stupid...

New AOL motto:

"THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS MY FRIEND".

What do you mean "we"? Westies like you had the contract that it was based on.

The constant struggle to employ "we" is a notable "Tell" by it's self. How many other posters routinely do so, either east or west? The west has, to their credit, more maintained the sense of group ("we") belonging throughout the years of this site's postings. The long-traditional divides within the east group render few much concerned with noting any "we" within postings.

Hey Courtney! Brittany, Francesca and Madison are down at the mall waiting for you. The new Justin Bieber CD is out!!!

Uhm, I was paraphrasing Wilder, Szmanski, O'Dwyer, Colello, etc. The lawyers were ALL chosen, vetted & championed by Kamp McKleary.

Vote how ever you want Slick. Voting down a $50k a year wage increase if a merger goes through? Nothing you guys do surprises me. You are your own worst enemies.

It's going to be like May 2007 all over again. Call in the CIRP! Oh the humanity!!!

So what? You would presume such as myself must assume they walk on water? Guess again. What I care about is only what's within (or not) the instrument it's self = the MOU document.

Again, if the likes of "It's going to be like May 2007 all over again. Call in the CIRP! Oh the humanity!!" amounts to your feeble excuse for "logic" within this...well...I'd suggest you would favor yourself by ceasing attacks on others for supposed "emotional", distracting issues...just sayin'. This is purely a business and contractual proposition to evaluate, nothing more and nothing less.

How would you like me to refer to our collective little general? What is it exactly that your ego will allow?
