Walmartgreeter said it.............."the only election that matters closes on Friday"

It's about time something good happened around here.

Next step is to confirm there is actually is going to be a merger.

Not sure but off the top of my head I'd say that is because of inactive, non-member.

That's total BS (the non-voters, not your post). Even when I was at my angriest at USAPA, if they sent me a bill to pay, I promptly paid it. Just my opinion.

I agree. I have friends over here that have always refused to join and I don't get it.

Ok, I'm a little slow here. 3740 eligible voters, with 5000 pilots? What the hey?

Bean
Many are on LOA, furlough or new hires first and second because of retirements we no longer have 5000 pilots.

This is why that the data for the seniority integration has to "get gotten" from the company and each wo(man) verified.

"Ten months ago when this process began, USAPA was relegated to the sidelines and ignored. Your union adopted an aggressive strategy and began working with other unions at US Airways to establish the Union Labor Coalition. We used an assertive communications and media approach, consulted with experts in mergers, visited Capitol Hill frequently, filed a legal motion in the American Airlines bankruptcy hearing and made our voice heard. As a result, your union was an equal participant in five-party negotiations that included the management of the two airlines, APA, USAPA and the UCC."

Nice to see a plan executed by adults. A plan that 75% of our splintered, battered, and divisive group was able to embrace. A long way to go with many pitfalls. But we all just took our first step out of the hole.

I heard the Boards of LCC and AMR are meeting Monday to vote on the merger....either that or someone disagreed with someone else so they're having a recall!

With greed all things are possible.

Yeah, I know but sometimes when he is screaming it's fun to drag a branch on the cage.

Now, let's start arguing over the Nic again. Does the MOU cement it or bury it? I'm sorry, sometimes I just can't help myself. ;-)

It's the first step towards cementing it.

cleardirect,

Not nearly as ignorant as some of the jackass statements you've made! I'm sure there are many former AWA pilots that have just as many, if not more hours and experience.

But At US there are pilots with tons more seniority than those at sand flea airlines in general. So, take the statement for what it is, the US folks in general are far more experienced and have known what it was like to work for the best at one time. Was AWA ever the best at anything, ever? Just askin

Taking your statement for what it is...... bullshite! Just another ignorant easthole flapping his jaws.
