More BS from DS. Dave, I post facts, you post your humble opinion.

Dave, you are and will always be a former america west pilot.

A compliment from our favorite AFO. Thank you. I wear the moniker proudly. The smaller "major airline" that whipped US Air into financial shape.

I take it the rides are all running smoothly in Fantasyland today then? 😉 By all means...don't dare even forget for a moment that you need to tell the American pilots that same, sorry BS!...And do give Dumbo and Goofy my very best! 🙂

Viva Tempe! Let's all pull out the peyote and fermented cactus juice!...We'd have to if we're to continue conversation along these lines. 😉

So much for let's put this behind us.

I thought your single post with a moment of clarity and civility was a fluke.

I'd suggested that thought, regarding the seniority resolution to come, for the health and well being of those that will be working "here" for many years yet to come, which isn't at all related to any thought of personally tolerating childish nonsense from complete fools. I'm hardly surprised that you missed the point entirely.

Both sides of the sorry little nic soap opera can take comfort in knowing that they contested for their beliefs, and needn't ruin future days of life over whatever results from all this mess. That's all. It appears to me that it's now pretty much over, insofar as line pilots have much to say about it, so; best just to enjoy any future day, rather than be filled with either anger or remorse, wondering if that guy/gal you're someday flying with was an evil eastie/westie/whatever. Was that concept presented sufficiently simply for you that time around?

Best post I've seen here in a while!

All the best,

Bob

It is not that it gives us a seat, it is it puts us on equal financial status (career expectation) with the AMR pilots.

Nic,

That is simply not logical thinking.

The MOU is not the vehicle to a career financial expectation status equal with the AA pilots, it is strictly and wholly a product of the proposed merger with AA. Notice the little blurb about the MOU is null and void unless the UCC, AMR and LCC BOD's approve the merger?

How can you logically argue in a SLI arbitration that you are on equal financial status with the AA pilots when absent the MOU (and the merger) you would not be.

No problem, I'll get right on that LUP thing, just as soon as somebody, ANYBODY, actually comes up with a definition of one!

Start saving up for your next AOL DFR contribution, because after the dust settles, you're not going to like the SLI any better than anyone else. Lawyers really love folks like you.

seajay

Seajay,

The definition of a LUP is a Purpose or Objective that benefits the collective bargaining unit as a whole.

Simple, easy.

But how much was left ont he table? I'm sure there was more. Where was the pit bull?

There's always more....weren't those agreements just 'proposals'?

What did you do to make sure nothing was left on the table? west pilots accusing East pilots, in front of Doug Parker during PHX meetings, of burning fuel and not taking direct routes. Totally false allegations by the way.

Now you can save American Airlines with your vast experience of whipping airlines in to financial shape.

How is it you say crew news videos? You are not a pilots at US airways.

At least that is what you have said. Care to come clean from your BS?

Might want to check the federal court document BTW. A federal judge in NC BTW found usapa guilty of an illegal job action.

Clear? You are a PHX USAPA pilot, correct? USAPA was accused of what? You were not accused of the same? Here fishy, fishy.
