A quick read of the style of propogandizing issues, people, and organizations as utilized by the communist party of Great Britain, as evidenced by Mr. Darke circa 1952 in Poor Lenin, gives us some understanding of how the afl-cio currently does business. I'm sure the same techniques were used by Quill and others to maintain dictatorial control within the twu throughout the years.
The question of communism versus other forms of governance aren't being mentioned to debate them, but simply offered to inform people of how the thoughts of the masses are being manipulated, and might I add quite easily, by those that profit by such manipulations. Anyone should know that communism does not equal dictatorial totalitarianism just as democratically based "republic" does not equal democracy in the least. As "Doc" Long, a longstanding powerfull member of the U. S. Congress stated on more than one occassion; "Them that got the gold make the rules!" Nothing on that order of things has changed.
You can understand why we are such an easily manipulated mass by reading Gatto's, The Underground History of American Education. This will help you understand that peoples' characters aren't just something that "happened", but are fed in a modern sociological experiment started over 100 years ago by the elite aimed at keeping people ignorant of the true nature of their existance. The pleadings I hear from people on why they choose their path of inactions are a result of such teachings.
As we have all stated our coworkers/peers are:
Sheople being led to a slaughter.
Afraid to do anything
Are Bootlickers for the Man
Are profiteers for their own benefit while selling out coworkers
Are hoping someone else will fight their battle for them at another airline
Are getting into a new career field because this on is finished
etc...
Comically enough some think there are other lines of work that aren't currently being targeted by the elite to draw them down to the lowest level of existance in our country as the elite have already done, by and large, to the aviation industry. Given that many white collar jobs are now being shipped overseas one would think that everyone that calls themselves a U. S. of America citizen should be fighting to stop this exportation of our collective standard of living overseas.
Perhaps it is because some have been "taught" that as long as you have what you need don't worry about the poor schmuck and his family because they are moving from their previous "nice home" into that tar-paper shack on the edge of the land fill! Yes, the Haves shall rule with an Iron Heel the Have-nots, while basking in the glory of surviving all the Elitist economic shell games that gave them their little niche while depriving the "Wage Slaves."
The issues at hand in the aviation industry are merely a microcosm of what is, in effect, happening throughout our nation. Get ready for a rough ride.
