 Delta just moved into the A-East Terminal in Philadelphia. The ticket counter is brand spanking new and it is quite impressive. Looks like their operation is getting bigger. Great job Tempe!!!!

Great! I have been flying AA and now I won't have to go all the way down to the end for my gate. I hope they opened more Security Screeners lanes there, its always a cluster****. even before we taxi out.
There is also no space for a CRC post security, as even the RCC is pre-security.
The only thing I don't know is if any of these gates (D10, D12) are capable of handling a 757, which is what DL is using on almost all mainline services into PHL.

I have to say AA's service is consistant and dependable. My past few flights on AA were Eagle out of Harrisburg and connecting in ORD. I hate the RJ's but an hour isn't too bad. I think AA has a product thats dependable, even their website is better. How do you think AA compares? I have been flying AA as well--will be on them next week. They've been treating me very well and the people in the AAdmiral's Lounge (PHL, MIA, DFW) are very nice.
Anything's possible. They have run 767's between PHL and ATL, as well as to JFK (as a continuing service to TA destinations). Could they be positioning themselves for some minor intl. ops? Probably not, but now it's one less hurdle. It also makes it easier for their skyteam connections to AF (but not to CO).Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if one of Delta's requirements was to have at least one gate that could handle a 767, since they do run quite a number of those domestically (though none to PHL at present).
