Delta Converts 777s to LRs and orders 73Gs

The EMB190 is the 100 seat aircraft. It is scope protected and would be flown by DL pilots. DL connection flying is limited to 76 seats.
Based on what I have seen with the 170's, and the trouble B6 had with the 190's, I would stay away from both types. When I worked the 170, it was a complete piece of crap from a ground service perspective. Does Boeing still offer the 737-500, which was just above the 100 seat capacity? I recall that UA had them, and they were supposed to be the updated version of the 737-200. To me the 170's and 190's are the Airbus's of the RJ world..

I wasn't trying to infer that DL has made a decision on the 100 seat aircraft type. I was merely pointing out that any aircraft over 76 seats is to be flown by DL pilots and would in fact require additional mainline DL pilots.
