Delta Labor Relations thread.

Another pro union argument goes up in smoke.
IAM: Richard Anderson had an employment contract.
Me: Well actually...

"Correction: February 3, 2016
An earlier version of this article misstated the terms of Richard Anderson’s employment agreement with Delta Air Lines. It is not the case that he had an employment contract."
IAM: Walks away with tail between legs....
You are kidding I hope with this comment? Do you think "employment contracts" are lifetime agreements? Of course not. They come up for renewal and the decision of the BOD can be not to renew the contact or the employee can also decide to move on to something else after expiration.

Anderson will be getting a very comfortable severance package as per his contract agreement.

Then why is he walking away with a $28 million retirement package?
And he got all that without a contract!

Baaaaaaaazingaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

lol

No contract, you are mistaken.

You do know that an "employment agreement" is also a form of contract right? If the BOD agreed in writing to any terms such as severance and it was not given, Mr Anderson would have the ability to seek a Court remedy and get restitution.

Even a Gentlemans Agreement if witnessed can be upheld in court.

Wrong thread, guys...
Anderson is/was an employee of the airline. The highest salaried employee but an employee nonetheless.

And his departure has the potential to dramatically effect Labor relations from the top down?

Nice attempt at back peddling....but....but....but....

The fact is your tired talking point of an "iron clad contract" never existed for Richard.

Even as so much the NYT had to make a correction and state it clearly.

BTW, verbal contracts or gentleman agreements very rarely hold up in court. Either it's in writing or it's not. If it's not then 99.9999% of the time you are SOL.

You're not Richard Anderson I hope you know? You're easily replaceable.

Just say "I don't ever want an Employment Contract"

I asked you a very specific question about that back in the thread which again as usual you totally IGNORED.

Richard seemed ok without a contract.

Despite the lies all you perpetuated saying that he surely had one.

So proof positive that without a contract you'll be just fine.

Ask Richard. (drops mic)

lol

All the lies? If he doesn't have any type of employment protection at all that's on him. (I highly doubt he doesn't though)

Who's you'll? Again I asked YOU. Would you like to have an "Employment Contract" for YOU? YOU have a very hard time answering SO many questions don't you.

Ask Richard. (drops mic)

I do not know Richard and am talking to YOU. Do YOU wish you had an "Employment Contract"?

lol
If you can't answer such incredibly easy questions then I have to be done with our exercise in futility. I really don't enjoy frustrating people such as yourself who like to play games just for attention personally. It's very childish and fun for you I'm sure. But I like to sit at the adult table.

He has an employment contract.

According to DL's 10k, DL has salary, stock, financial services, medical, retirement etc that they agreed with Anderson in his contract to provide.

Also in April 2015 it outlines certain things in regards to his and other executive compensation.

BTW Never thought I would say this but I think I'm actually starting to miss WT. He may have twisted everything to suit his agenda but at least he was usually adult about it.

Ah the 10k. Can't hide anything from the 10k.

Thank you 700.
