Delta - Pelston to Detroit

I'm trying to go from Pelston, MI to DTW. I know that in the summer they have flights out in the morning and early afternoon. They are only offering the morning as of today. What would you all do? Wait? Book the morning now and pay a change fee $$$$ later? I'm flummoxed over this one. PLN only has only so many seats per day and I don't want to miss my flight date but I also don't want to book the 7am flight right now either. Help?
