DFW AA hangars

Check the video on the local website, there is a plan but it goes out to like 2032. Most of us will be dead or close to it.

Oh good a "B-Scale" Hangar Plan.

Let's screw the guys that are not here yet.

Maybe instead of Cargo they will start an MRO there.....

In the video it said the maintenance hangers will move to the east side, is that the location of DWH?
How much expansion room is available around the DWH hanger?

Might be for consolidation purposes. Move PHX and PIT overhaul to DFW. Shift the work to a central location at the largest hub AA operates. Makes sense to me.

And you care about anyone but yourself?  Not by the content of your posts.

If AA is changing its maintenance program wouldn't it be smarter to increase line maintenance
throughout the system instead of moving to one massive base.

The news article concerning PIT and it's re-lease to 2020, ( with a 2 year out ) might be an indication of realigning maintenance. If calling PIT a massive base with 1000 people and only 400 mechanic's is true then how would you describe TUL. Centralizing maintenance at TUL for an example , which is practically free of charge, places it close to DFW and DWH with ORD, MIA and LAX equilateral distances away.

Now you Tule boys maybe start thinking about other stations other then your own, now that your place is getting leaner. 12 years ago you couldn't have cared less about DFW thinking your gravy train up there would continue forever.

I hope you are intelligent enough to realize that not of those Tule boys are against DFW and the Line. It appears that there many who agree with you and many who agreed with you 12 and 25 years ago.
