New Hangar in CLT ?

Rumor has it a new hangar will open in CLT ?

There are currently two hangars for AA at CLT, a line hangar, and a heavy maintenance hangar that still has two open bays, so I doubt this rumor is true.

I was unaware that AA commited to the A350 !  
What could Any model of the A350 family offer AA, that between the 772, 773 or any model of the 787 not handle ?

US agreed to the A350 a long time ago - US was on track to be an entire Airbus fleet

AA is very much committed to the A350.  AA is the launch customer for the A350 in the United States.  The maintenance and training departments have been very busy for years preparing for its arrival.  It's coming.

The A350 will be able to fit in Bay 3 in the CLT heavy maintenance hangar, and that plane is two years away from being delivered to US.
 
And it should be able to fit in the PHL line hangar for its ETOPS maintenance.
