What's new

Did Ron Paul Win Iowa, Nevada, Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri?

So, he has run as a Republican 3 times and as a Libertarian 1 time.

He has never, ever ever won a primary. 0-8 this time, gotta be about 0-80 by now.

Ron Paul can never win, he won't win, and he looks more foolish each time.

But, his true believers just march off that cliff every 4 years.

Pathetic.

Kind of like your lack of knowledge, pathetic. Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian in 1988, I voted for him then.

He ran in the Republican Primary in 2008 and again in 2012, I voted for him in 2008 and went to the caucus here in MN

That would be THREE! So far about 200 delegates have been up for grabs out of 1144 to nominate. As the video points out, winning the straw vote in a caucus state doesn't mean you automatically win the proportional amount of delegates. In Larrimer County, CO Dr Paul polled about 20% of the vote yet earned 100% of the delegates to the state convention where delegates are selected for the national convention. This was the case in a great many caucus states where having "True Believers" stick around for the real decisions is a huge advantage. This is why he abandoned the FL primary effort due to the winner take all manner that delegates were awarded.

When you bring your troll assets over here come with facts not flame bait. Otherwise stick to kissing Dougies Arse. Sound like a plan? Oh BYW I hear noise in the background I think he wants another PBR.

Sorry, he loses so much, you would think he ran as a Republican 3 times. But...has he ever won a primary? Nope

Will he? Nope.

Not flame bait, you are such a fanboy that you can't accept any criticism of Ron Paul or his nutty fringe followers.

I've criticized him several times. He's got an uphill battle to be sure. His vote totals this time around have doubled and tripled over 2008 performance. If US Airways had that kind of financial performance they'd be erecting a statue of Doug Parker on the Front lawn and rightfully so.

He's now out of the single digits and challenging for 1st or 2nd place consistently and we have a long way to go. He has the only message that is in contrast to the 4 Crony Capitalists running. Slowly (perhaps to slow) people are joining the revolution and the Liberty Movement grows daily as a result.

When he started in 2008, thirty some percent knew what the Federal Reserve Bank was. NOW fully 87% would like to see it audited. That's change not some horse shite slogan from a Crony Capitalist back bench junior senator posing as President.

25 years in Congress and never took a dime from lobbyists. He won't even see them. That's called integrity. Given you association with airline management I realize that's a word your unfamiliar with. It's been defined as how you conduct yourself when nobody is looking.

His harshest critics when not calling him a kook will readily concede that he is the most intellectually honest candidate running. It's funny in a way how when Obama energized the younger vote he was a visionary, however when it's Ron Paul those same young voters are zealots and fanatics.

When you advocate what Ron Paul does, a lot of "Big Money" types or "Establishment" if you prefer are going to get a huge haircut. As a result we've had Bernanke issue a veiled threat in testimony before Congress. Both Fox and the more liberal leaning news outlets have done everything in their power to discredit Dr Paul. Remember Truth is treason in the empire of lies.

All to no avail. Why do his numbers keep growing? Why does the active military donate the most money to him then all of the Candidates combined? You're seeing this with the Tea Party, Occupy Wall Street and the Liberty Movement headed up by Dr Paul.

Face it Liberty is popular! It's past time for We The People to Wake Up, Wise Up and Rise Up.

Head to head Ron Paul polls very well against the Empty Suit, surprisingly so in fact. He polls better than either Sanitarium or Gingrich.

Will Ron Paul win go on to Tampa and be the nominee? Beats me as even though I'm a huge supporter I never thought he'd do this well.

I still get a chuckle from the level of delusion coming from Ron Paul supporters. 🙂

You left out the part about him being last in delegates among the GOP nominiation hopefulls. Whatever polls you have seen that compare Obama to Paul are irrelevant if he does not get the nomination.

Does he need to get nominated to have an effect? I say no! If we look at him as the leader of the "Liberty Movement" then that alters the playing field. He has IMO wildly successful if he drops dead 10 seconds from now. Why?

Consider that in 2008 36% of the population knew what the Federal Reserve Bank is. NOW? 78% think it's a good idea to audit the Fed. That's real change. I was just reading the Star-Tribune an a glaring example of the Power of Ron Paul;s message was on the front page of the Business Section. Here's a snippet and link.

The Federal Reserve's transparency campaign swept into Minnesota on Tuesday, as Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota delivered his first-ever media briefing on the state's economy.

Speaking at the headquarters of the Federal Reserve's Ninth District in downtown Minneapolis, Kocherlakota outlined the state's better-than-average progress recovering from the Great Recession and forecast a slow national recovery. He said he expects real national gross domestic product to grow at an annual rate of between 2.5 percent and 3 percent in each of the next two years, slightly faster than the 1.6 percent growth in 2011.

The biggest news from the briefing, however, may be that it occurred at all. Under Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, the once-secretive interest rate-setting body has been airing its views more directly about policy decisions and the direction of the economy -- letting the public and market movers peek behind the curtain in Oz. Funny how as soon as the "End the Fed" signs started showing up and Dr Paul got around 80+ co-sponsors to his bill to audit the Fed all of a sudden these guys get "Religion" and decide to be more "Open"????

It's also becoming clear that Dr Paul may well have won Maine.

You take the Liberty Movement, Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street and you have a rather large portion of society questioning the current power structure. Much of this is the result of Ron Paul's Candidacy So while winning the whole thing would be nice, He doesn't have to win to move the Liberty movement and take others with him

Yeah because losing every single primary and not being able to get anyone but the fringe to vote for hm has done soooo much for America.

27% of the vote in one of the states with the highest literacy & higher education rates is NOT the fringe. 36% of Maine voters in not the fringe. Nearly 50% of the voters under 30 is not the fringe. Keep listening to morons like Rush and you'll be forever in the dark. let's see how he does in the state where the temperature outside is often higher than the IQ of the residents. You know the home of DUI Doug and the Tempe Frat Boys?

Here's something to chew on. I myself was surprised.

Here's another tidbit to chew on.

Ron Paul Is Secretly Taking Over The GOP — And It's Driving People Insane

By now, it is clear that the Maine caucuses were a complete mess.

Evidence is mounting that Mitt Romney's 194-vote victory over Ron Paul was prematurely announced, if not totally wrong. Washington County canceled their caucus on Saturday on account of three inches of snow (hardly a blizzard by Maine standards), and other towns that scheduled their caucuses for this week have been left out of the vote count. Now, it looks like caucuses that did take place before Feb. 11 have also been left out of final tally.

So it looks like he may have actually won Maine. This Revolution WILL be Televised

But how many state delegates that belong to someone else are RP wackos?

You neglected the fact that Paul is running against Romney, Gingrich and Santorum. Those three can make anyone look like a viable alternative. The GOP is grasping t straws.

This is why in some ways I think Ron Paul might just be the right challenger for the Empty Suit.

Of ALL the Republicans running RP has the fewest skeletons in his closet. He's generally proved to be a Gentleman during the debates and in most of his ads. Yes some did have a shrill tone in attacking his competitors, however he stuck to political issues.

Good or Bad he believes in something which gives him a distinct advantage over the Empty Suit. If they debate and the polls show Ron Paul close, Obama will turn racist and dirty. During times of stress people always revert to who they are and we've seen the arrogant and condescending one in action. He will IMO viciously attack Ron Paul and it will seem like he's beating up on an old man and IMO will backfire on the Empty Suit.

He can win if he gets the nod. Getting the nod? Whole different story.

No, good or bad does not make him a viable alternative. Good yes. Bad makes him just like all the rest. Bad. You seem to have such a hard on for this guy you just do not seem to care if he s good or bad and that is by your own admission.
