As an American Airlines employee, I can tell you one sure thing. The TWU, is worthless, their representation sucks, and all they care about is sucking up union dues, to pad their pockets. You would be better off with a Independent Union, kind of like the pilots union (APA)- Allied Pilots Union.
I can also tell you this the TWU, is in bed with American Airlines. I have the proof !, They are a company union, representing the company, while you the dues paying member foot the bill. Ask any American Airlines ramper, Crew Chief, and you will get the straight dope on this outfit....
