Does Anyone Know?

IMHO, This is NOT the company to work for if you are looking for benefits..
Sure, it sounds great to be able to fly for [free ?].

Sometimes,a person has to be very flexible to get to your destination. Flying non-rev can be nerve racking.

I would suggest companies such as FedEx or UPS if you are looking for decent Health Care Insurance for Part Time work. You wont find it here..

Does anyone know if part-time employees, ramp, baggage, or gate agents get free travel? Thanks.

Free travel is one of those "glory days past" benefits of airline employment. It sounds very glamorous; the reality is quite different. It is nearly impossible to get on flights that have destinations where people like to go for business or vacation. Even if you plan ahead and pick flights that look like they have great availablity for employees' free travel, the vagaries of the airline business can make those available seats disappear in a moment. Cancelled flights due to weather, maintenance, or whatever have immediate impact with no warning. Even flights cancelled by other airlines can dry up seat availability as those carriers rebook their passengers into whatever airline has seats.

However, if you are looking to travel to a specific location to visit family, friends, etc. and that destination isn't an in-demand city, then it may work. But the airlines also have a penchant for downsizing the aircraft to fit the demand. So that door may close, too.
(About the only places that you can count on for fairly decent free travel as an employee is on the DCA-LGA-BOS shuttle flights. You will rarely get bumped off more than a handful of hourly flights before a seat is available. Just don't try it during holiday periods.)

Don't take a miserable job just for the free travel. I guarantee that it will just make you more miserable.
