Most of the dues that are paid bi-weekly go to the international, whereas just a few dollars are allocated to the local level. If I elected to become a dues objector, I would lose the right to voice my opinion at any of the local lodge meetings. The Local Lodge would lose my few dollars, but the International would still get their piece of my check every two weeks. B)
