How much are union dues every two weeks? I can't believe that you HAVE to belong to the union. I'm having a hard time comprehending that.

A senior IAM official told us last night that he is getting word that the Fleet Service Proposal has been passing in every city that has voted so far.

it'd be good to verify that, one way or the other. canale promised the results would not be released until all votes were cast.

Funny...I heard just the opposite...

Nice spin though....It isn't going to pretty...

Sorry Usfleaboy and USA320Pious....

Just curious, how does the IAM count the results of your votes since I hear voting is very antiquated. Is there an independent agency that verifies the results? Anyone know? 700?

.
For once, 700 is quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Usually responds to everything. Independent agency? Overseeing IAM voting? I think the IAM only counts them...AND IN THE DARK! Why, these guys are slicker than Slick Willie! Only difference...they make sure they don't get caught.

700 was out of town,

At each location there is a teller committee, they run the election, the results are counted locally, faxed into the district, then all the ballots are overnighted to the District for an independant count.

And back in the 2003 restructuring, there were numerous observers who requested to watch the count at LL 1725, they were all obliged.

And if anyone doubts the results, they can file charges with the DOL for an investigation, this has been done numerous times.

I bet after the UNION VOTE the dues will go up.

They'll have to go up.

There will be 29 stations with CONTRACT HELP on the ramp
and they will have NO UNION.

'The END IS NEAR "
