Fresh-FlyingThose are good, too, but they're a little upscale sounding; sorta sounds like something jetBlue would do. SkyFood is more simple
How about SkyGrub or SkyChow? Or SkySnax?
you know, it all just boils down to different accents..Have you not heard the dialect of a native Minnesotan, or for that matter any native midwesterner?
From a food perspective, have you ever seen a high end restaurant such as Ruth's Chris steakhouse advertising that they have "good eats"? No! They present a polished, high quality image. For that matter, I've never even seen Hooters advertise that they have "good eats".
"Good eats inflight at SkyCafe'"What is wrong with Good Eats?
I love the sound of SkyCafé. As Kev3188 said, it sounds upscale and ties in very nicely with the "sky" rebranding of the company. Dignity, you should apply for a job in DL's marketing department. Whoever came up with the "Drinks & Eats" slogan should be fired!well the name is kind of cute in its own little way.
personally prefer a name such as
sky cafe or simply cafe
it just seems gourmet to me..
simple

Kev3188 is exactly right on something else he said. DL needs to decide if it wants to be a folksy, down home airline like WN or if it wants to be a polished, sophisticated, global powerhouse airline like KL/AF. Considering that DL has really been focusing on international expansion over the past 10 years, I think the company really needs to position itself as a strong competitor in the international arena.
Now, back to the initial subject of this thread. Does anyone know why DL chose to call its onboard food program "eats"?
So you think "Drinks & Eats" sounds more sophisticated than "SkyCafe"? Maybe it is in your part of the country, but not in mine.I couldn't agree more! Every time i see the word "CAFE" i immediately think of a sophisticated, well-thought out, delicious meal prepared by skilled artisans. NOT!!!

If there's one thing people from the South know, its food.
