Is it just me or is there always something wrong where as you need to change planes or are delayed for hours? I have not been able to leave PHL successfully on an Embraer EVER.

I have had a busted door, a frozen valve (I guess they don't like the northeast weather) and multiple "maintenance delays"

Are you talking about US Airways E190s or Republic with the E170s?

new fleet type (sorta).

new fleet type. new fleet type. new fleet type.

Truthfully, the whole deck is stacked against you. First it is an Emb, added to that you are in PHL, and perhaps worst of all, Doug is in charge. 🙂

Ejets is what Embraer calls the 170-195 family. I suspect that they're trying to differentiate them from the 145's, which they call ERJ's.

Mesa flies ERJs, no longer for US though. Like BB said the 170/175/190/195 are generally referred to as the EJet family, or just EMBs.

Umm, yes, they do. Mesa flies as US Airways Express out of Phoenix and LAS...lots and lots and lots of flights. With CRJ's and B1900s and dash8's, I think...
