Sure could. But how many shotguns hold 30 shells? How fast can they be fired? What is the purpose of the AR15 again? Nobody has told me. Funny thing...nobody has disputed my claim that the AR15 was designed to kill as many PEOPLE as possible in as short a time as possible. Why do we need guns like that?

Don't need 30 shells......that's the point. Maybe 3-5 depending on distance and how far apart the target is.....further from the target, the greater the spread increasing the hit targets.
So eliminate all AK-47's and they'll go with sawed off shotguns either semi-auto or pump action (which is about as fast as a semi) with 00 buckshot and sling cartridge belts and double bandoliers.....nice touch.....probably more efficient than an AK.

In 2011 only 8583 were murders by guns. The rest would be accidents. That means the Automobile killed more people by accident than guns did. It's total was 32,367 for 2011.

Also I pulled the gun murders for 2011 from the Gov't website for the 8583 number. So either 22,764 people died by complete accident with a gun or you got your numbers from one of the numerous anti gunning sites out there that grossly inflate their numbers.

I'm sure the parents of the kids killed in Connecticut will understand that logic...and fight for a ban on ALL guns. After all...you...a gun lover...has told us that a shotgun was a far more dangerous weapon than a #### assault rifle.

No, you were one making a big deal out of the perp using the Bushmaster in the school.....I merely point out the fact that what you thought was a less dangerous weapon, in skilled hands who are intent on mass murder...is quite the choice.

I agree. Let's go back to the intent of the constitution....every man (women weren't equal until about a century later) has the right to bear muskets. Everything else....fuhgedaboutit.

The guy in your video had a talent..."bump firing" can be done by a grade school dropout who couldn't spell Cat if you spotted him the c and the t. But by God...he has the right to own a gun designed to kill hundreds in under a minute. Then make a video of it and go "yeeee hawwwww" at the end.

I would gently ask any one of you to show me an instance where a gun unlocked itself, broke out of the gun safe strolled down the Blvdm walked into a group of people and aimed and fired on that group all by itself.

Adam Lanza made a decision on Friday to act on his darker impulses.

He could have driven to the school with a pickup truck full of fertilizer and did a Tim McVeigh on the place

He could have driven to the school and set off multiple IED's

He could have driven to the school and taken his vehicle an ran a bus load of kids over an embankment

He could have driven to the school and took his vehicle and ran down several dozen people.

He could have driven to the school and dumped a 5 gallon container of gasoline through the school and torched it.

Instead he chose a method he was more comfortable with.

But no matter how you slice all of the above options, none would have happened if Adam Lanza hadn't put his plan into action.

Show me a single instance where a person was able to shoot 20 students with out a gun.

He did not do that did he?

All those methods are either more difficult, more involved or less precise or more messy.

He chose a gun because he had easy access and it required no effort or skill. HE USED A GUN. ACCEPT IT AND GET OVER IT.

Would not have happened if be was not born either. What does that have to do the price of tea in China? He was unstable (apparently so was the mother) and he had easy access to weapons.

KC, I'm only pointing out what you perceive as 'dangerous weapons' can apply to most when in the wrong hands.

That is the issue with firearms.....when in the wrong hands......like I pointed out, most if not all of these massacres were done by people with mental issues....to take away the gun rights of the majority of Americans who abide by the law is senseless.

It's time to deal with the issue of mental competency.

I'm saying if we make guns that were designed to kill as many people as possible in as short a time as possible illegal, it would be far less likely to fall into the wrong hands. From what I have read, the mom was some kind of end times nutcase herself....but she was allowed to own guns. God help us if we demand a mental evaluation become part of getting a gun.

What is wrong with someone being prepared in the event of some kind of catastrophe?
You notice how many were without food and water after Sandy? Bet they wish now they were 'end times' prepared.
The government wasn't right there either....Like I said...you're on your own.

You eliminate all firearms from law abiding citizens and who will have them then?
You successfully eradicate ALL firearms from the populace.....killing will still go on...and probably adapt to not having firearms and still commit mass murder.

I believe that is the guy who instituted a study to try to show that eliminating guns was beneficial but found out during his study it was exactly the opposite.

BTW........I heard about it on communist talk radio.
