Gotta love those global warming loons...

FOX NEWS
Three global warming researchers stranded in the North Pole by cold weather were holding out hope Wednesday as a fourth plane set off in an attempt deliver them supplies.

The flight took off during a break in bad weather after “brutalâ€￾ conditions halted three previous attempts to reach the British explorers who said they were nearly out of food, the Agence France-Presse reported.

“We’re hungry, the cold is relentless, our sleeping bags are full of ice,â€￾ expedition leader Pen Hadow said in e-mailed statement. “Waiting is almost the worst part of an expedition as we’re in the lap of the weather gods.â€￾

Hadow, Martin Hartley and Ann Daniels began an 85-day hike to the North Pole on February 28 to measure sea ice thickness, the AFP reported.

With bad weather hampering supply flights, the team is was down to half-rations, battling desperate sub-zero temperatures and unable to proceed, the AFP reported.

"It'll be a relief to get our new supplies," Hadow said in a statement Wednesday. "Until (the plane) does arrive, we need to conserve energy and can't really move on."

The expedition now expects to arrive at the North Pole in late May.

Maybe its time to rethink that whole global warming sham after all.

Here is a term for you to look up: Average. As in Average temperatures.

Look it up and get back to us with your findings. Here is a site you can start out with.

Science Daily

Now if you want to argue that the warming trend s not related to GW but the cycle of the planet, fine. Have at it since that one is open for debate. How ever to point out a isolated instance of abnormal cold or abnormal heat over the course of a year is irrelevant.

BTW, we had a few 80 degree days in Dallas in the beginning of March.... what does that mean ........Not a dam thing since we are talking about averages.

Sure hope your pretty

Truly unbiased source if their ever was one.

Wonder how many suck the GW funding teat?

WTF?

I think you get the point. Let's try this again. Dapoes pointed out an incident where researchers became stranded because of a cold snap. Dapoes used this singular incident to say that the GLOBE is not warming up. The science Daily site (along with the 5 others I just posted) all indicate that the AVERAGE temperature is increasing.

As I said, if you wish to argue the cause of the warming, knock your self out. I do not know if the cause is human or natural but the evidence seems to be indisputable that the earth is getting warmer. Personally, I fail to see how 6 billion plus people along with all their crap cannot have a significant impact on the plant but that's just me.

Dapoes, let me put this another way. If you walk into a casino and see someone hit the jack pot on a slot machine, are you going to assume that everyone wins on the slots all the time and bet the farm on it?

Like I said, look up the word AVERAGE and get back to us.

I sure hope you're pretty

Gee, maybe its the "pretty" obvious?

Hotter-burning sun warming the planet

So the earth is getting warmer? A few posts ago it was hog wash. Pick a side.

Never heard the sun theory before. I'll have to read up on that one. Regardless of the sun theory or not, I find it difficult to believe that 6 billion plus are not having a significant impact on the climate and environment.

And 40 degrees in ATL in mid-March ! And your point is??

DON'T CARBON TAX ME BRO' !BASED ON "GORE" SCIENCE!

Gar- the 6 billion people you speak of do not have the ability to change climate. We are more insignificant than you think. What gives you the idea that we are changing the climate? The climate has been changing for eons without us. Who caused the warming after the ice age? Why is this climate change any different?

Garf is probably referring to Obama's upcoming "Flatulence Tax", because 6 billion plus farts must be having a significant impact on the climate and environment.

You calculate in the boo-boo using temps twice from Russia and the NOAA satellite sensor that skewed all the temp readings?

Or do you go ahead with the flawed data just like all the other GW smacks sucking the Fed funding teat?

The Fed funding teat gives lots of milk if you didn't know.

PS: I'm ugly as all hell and ride a Harley.

Fine, lets assume that 6 billion people and all their junk is having zero impact. What is wrong with trying to keep our air, water, soil clean. What's wrong with restricting contaminants, saving our forests, and just making the planet a better place to live?

Nothing is wrong, but lets not achieve those goals by penalizing our economy. We should be giving people incentives to keep our environment clean. Yeah, I know a clean environment should be our incentive but in reality our economy needs more than that. Like tax breaks.
