One of the "Issues" I have had over the years with fundamentalist Christians is their relative rigidity on a variety of issues. One being Gay Marriage. Basically my belief is this: If you want me to respect and even defend your rights then I expect the same from you and we can respectfully agree to disagree.
First off being gay or marrying a person of the same sex doesn't even make God's Top Ten List commonly known as the Ten Commandments. These are not the Ten Guidelines or Ten Suggestions. They are Commandments and guess what's on the list? ADULTERY. Yep good old heterosexual Adultery and judging from the divorce rate there is an awful lot of Adultery taking place.
So before people start looking over the fence at others perhaps they should look in the mirror and examine their own actions. The Bible gives us the guidelines for an orderly society. The COTUS provides us the Liberty to live as we choose as long as we don't harm one another. .

Minor point of order.  I believe the legal definition of adultery is relations between a person who is not your spouse.  Point being that same sex couples can commit adultery just as hetero couples do.

I agree with your point as a whole and would go one step further.  If the sanctity of marriage was the primary concern for the religious right I think they would have sought to out law or at least curb divorce.  People seem to be treating marriage like a lease agreement with a car or worse, as a rental car.  Take it out for a spin and if you don;t like it, trade it in for a newer model.  Of course if they took that route, the put cry from the public and divorce lawyers would be deafening.

Mark Sanford cheated on his wife, used public funds to do it, had his staff lie about it to cover up, divorced his wife and still got reelected.  Newt Gingrich cheated on two wives, one of qhich was in the hospital while he came to discuss divorce terms, and end up marrying a trophy wife who is 23 younger than him. And people on this board have the balls to critics Ms Clinton?

According to this site, the top five states in divorce all voted republican and the bottom five were democrat.

And just to toss this one because it amuses me, according to this site, atheists have one of the lowest divorce rate.

The only time to worry about La La is if he cites a source for any of his rantings. If history is any indicator, there will never be anything to be concerned about.

The US Supreme court just told FL to pound sand.  They upheld the lower court decision saing the ban violated the COTUS.  Marriage can take effect on Jan 5th.  I wonder how the AG' s who waste precisou money and resources fighting these rulings  defend their actions to the electorate.  I mean the case is lost.  The SCOTUS has just hasent signed off on it yet.

Makes one wonder of the mental make up of gay men who find it prudent to 'hook up' at such places.

My name mention on 4 posts in one page. You waste far too much energy on me.

I have posted several results of government reports, news articles, and various other things. Your libtard mind just refuses to accept them. As I recall I posted several articles about police stings arresting gays at public parks and rest stops. Not just one or two but several.  I guess you conveniently forgot about those.

It's not what I have found, it is what the police have found. Time and time again.

Can you prove the people getting divorced actually share the political views representative of the state?

I find it funny that this PROOF of yours only covers 2008. Why not do that same analysis over a 10 or 20 year period?
