Maybe so. I don't carry a gun.
I have a home defender that I haven't shot in years.
It very well could be that Zimmerman was a little more cocky since he had a weapon, however, IMHO, he didn't know if lil Trayvon had a weapon or not.
Sure, if Zimmerman did not confront lil Trayvon, none of this would have happened. But lil Trayvon should have used his street smarts and not try to beat the crap out of a cracker that was 'legally' armed. Bad JuJu...
I certainly don't have an answer and doubt many do.
I wasn't there but as with all of 'us' #### house lawyers, both Zimmerman & lil Trayvon should have talked before the crap hit the oscillating device.

Again...how many kids (outside of Eddie Haskell) do that? And considering that Zimmerman made it quite clear to the 911 operator that he deemed Martin to be an '####' (as in "these assholes, they always get away") do you think that Zimmerman was open to "adult" dialog?

How do ou know that Martin was not defending him self from Zimmerman who might have instigated the confrontation and Martin was just finishing it?

Did you have an adult brain at that time? I wasn't old enough to go to Nam. But at 17 I wasn't a thinking adult. Maybe being on the battlefield makes your brain age a bit faster. Again - one was a kid. The other was supposed to be an adult.

Well there is where you get into truth and reality.
IMHO, my brain is dynamic and learns every day.
But the "LAW" has determined that one is considered an adult at 18. (with exceptions by state).

Do I think "now' that I was an adult at 18?
In retrospect, certainly not.

Did I think I was an adult at 18 when I was 18?
Bet your a$$!

Age is a number. There are numerous 'teens' that are in lock up for their nefarious crimes. Some pretty brutal.

Then why did you make the statement that Martin should not have beat up Zimmerman? Seems like a conclusive statement for someone who claims not to have an answer. Why do you do not ask the same questions of the guy who is alive to answer them. Perhaps Zimmerman started a fight he could not finish and had to resort to using his gun? Marin was on a public street and had not committed any crime. ZImmerman can ask all the questions he wants but Marin is under no obligation to answer much less acknowledge Zimmerman.
 
Sounds to me like the peeps that are upset with the verdict, need to vent elsewhere.............prosecution team maybe ?
