Heard there is gonna be a third flight to Aruba?

I recently heard that US is gonna add another flight to Aruba, in about 4 months from now. How can US be adding all these routes but still doing involuntary furloughs? I just do not understand this.

possibly due to reduced tue/wed/sat sched and the fact that they keep pulling out of smaller markets with mainline...they still have to fly those 279 a/c somewhere...while they seem to be adding flts to some dest, they are reducing flts(mainline) to others...
