HP PLANE worked at PIT BASE

I thought HP outsourced almost all of their maintenance....

When people talk about the outsourced MX mostly they are refering to sceduled heavy checks. Most (if not all)airlines do they everyday MX in house except if a plane is broke in a city where you have no staff then another carrier (or contract mx) will work it for you.

Good to see us working together for a common goal. Serve our customers by putting aside differences and working together as a team
Is that (teamwork and serving the customers) allowed under union contracts? 😀

The way I understand is, the crews cannot work on each others aircrafts since we both have different certificates and manuals.

As far as maintennance, I think other airlines can fix our planes in other cities.

Yes, Teamwork and serving customers is allowed under union contracts.

Also, Executives walking away with millions for doing a Lousy Job, [under their own personal contracts], is allowed.
[Sadly]

I'm sure the IBT folks are loving this.

Where is somebody from AC Technical Services with a picture: "A330 worked in Canada!!!" The howls would be heard from Moon to CLT and back..

we in phx have better things to due than take pictures when working your east planes every day, hey 700 tell everyone why the iam is refusing to let the west side techs from working your planes at night at our stations. and while your at it either tell your crews we stock no parts for your planes out here or start sending them out, that is your job as a stores cleck to send out parts!

bus and a 57....???
on the other hand...they always put the 57 in mid dock....

What's up with the 757? I thought the CMV was farmed to ACTS or Mobile? Drop in visits?

Looks like a 321 on the South Dock.

By the way who's running the show in the hangar?

I know Gary the magnificent is the Director but who are the managers? Still Osama Bin Lewis the Shop butt kisser? Chopper? What about Louie the reject? (Louie the reject is called that because every time he tried to sell something off to inspection it got rejected, he's a weiner from the empire days, he only got the job because he mows Gary's lawn)

Not true the west side does contract mx for the east at our stations and the east does contract mx for the west at thier stations.

I think he was talking flight crew in the first part and mx in the second part.

Flight crews can not work on each others a/c but mx can and does ( all over the sys )

Because our CBA prevents them from scheduling mtc at non-mtc stations.

See part of the stronger scope language, unlike your ibt cba where HP can let anyone and everyone work your planes.

yes your great scope is stopping your own airline from saving money by letting its own people work its a/c.

First of all differant mtc programs and differant operating certificates.

Funny when we had over 400 planes we managed to keep the mtc at our stations and not cost money. Now 200 planes and 22 stations, plenty of places to get the scheduled mtc done and not waste money.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

US east can have anyone work the planes too and back in 1999 we had contract working planes in mx stations.
was there

with 400 planes we wasted a lot of money. now with 200 planes and mx cost down now US is not wasting money.

Since 700 is so good at posting phots I wonder if he can post the ones of the IAM striking as promised when the first Baby Bus "crossed the tracks" down in Mobile.

Oh yeah, they're aren't any. Your IAM "stronger scope" working for you again.
