The way out of it was to ask for binding arbitration, agreeing to what the arbiter said.
Oh, wait, everyone did that....except the East.
Its your careers you ruined, enjoy LOA 93, you earned it.
Actually, I didn't, but thanks anyway.

Sad day for the union and the East pilots today. I am embarrassed..... RR
I'm trying to see if DreaminofCLT and Res Jud's feeling are reflective of the majority of the west. If it is, there is no use in trying anything different.
How anyone can brag about being associated with america west as a retire and feel pride, consider the source.
Silly me, trying to see a way out of this.
Only a Pilot can write something up in the logbook for mtc to fix.Guess it's time for the East F/A's to step up to the plate and Start Writing EVERYTHING UP!! And everyone knows what I mean..There are Way too many A/C out there that have Major Problems and need to be addressed!! ASAP!! We all have to be Saftey Pat!! WRITE IT UP!!
So wondering why the west doesn't save the east from itself is your version of seeing a way out? Talk the people who got you (the east) into this mess into getting you (the east) out of it. You could start with some easties on this board. Generic platitudes aimed at no one in particular have as much effect as USAPA's "You guys stop (nod nod) doing these bad things the company claims (wink wink)...

And I hope the company doesnt look for your IP address, you just put yourself in the crosshairs.
Now why should the westies all feel the same way about most any subject? Even when the westies that post here don't? Maybe I should be asking if luvthe9, BS, apollo, and Claxon represent the feelings of all east pilots...it'd make as much sense.
You set up an artificial situation, then act insulted when someone points out that it's as fake as Carmen Electra's boobs.
Besides, if my assumptions about MIGS are close 40% of east votes would probably outvote the west anyway.
Jim
I was talking about the Logbook that is in the cockpit that the pilots and mtc use.
The really messed up thing about your statement is many Eastholes are wringing their hands in joyful hope that something terrible happens...in the supremely effed up world of uscaba that would be considered some kind of "win".This ruling is really a bad thing for anyone associated with this company. Any metal gets bent with injuries in the next year or so, and the company is now liable in writing for pushing it's crews to fly fatigued and or with known maintenance issues. Not an easy one to overcome financially or prejudicially.
Finally, US Airways submitted bag tags that brazenly mix the safety message with the contract message. One side reads “I AM ON BOARD SAFETY FIRST!” the other says “I’VE HAD ENOUGH I AM READY TO STRIKE”. Pl’s Ex. 88. Captain Hogg testified that he received a box containing the bag tags in the mail on August 18, 2011; moreover, evidence from the U.S. Postal Service indicated that the box had been mailed from USAPA’s headquarters in Charlotte.
