It would be cool if management backed off the "Cost Neutral" strategy and began working in an ethical manner with the represented groups. It be even cooler if they renogitiated Al Heminway's contract to the point he quits.
This airline is poised to kick some arse if management and the unions can come to agreeable terms for both sides. One which both sides feel good about. Not great, but good. DP don't defer important aspects of these negotiations to someone who is not trusted by the represented folks. Surely you can find someone who will keep costs reasonable. Let's change "Cost Neutral" to "Cost Reasonable", negotiate in good faith, and stay out of the employees way. They'll get the job done!
