What more can you contribute to the knowledge that the IAMPF is not a good deal?
I cant but many dont have that knowledge and i doubt one single union leader will make waves and say anything other than "Its in the green"!

I want informed consent and i remember all the leader pollyannas going around in 2003 saying how the iampf was such a benefit, so i think we can expect the same again.

The iampf was a $47 million concession for fleet but it was dressed up like a benefit. A complete disaster as all defined benefits. There is a reason why all of us got hosed with our defined benefits as they are subject to plan changes. Now i got 2 defined benefits i got hosed from.

Bob from  seeing your previous posts I can tell you're a mathematician   you like your numbers so its not hard to figure out the plan is not for you especially at 53. Tim is going to provide  data to people who never heard of the plan and they can make there choice it's a bit ironic it would be better for Tim and me if everyone did go in the plan

No, no. I understand the statement made. It said there were positions given as favors to friends. It didn't state, as you've tried to correct now, that there are too many people working as representatives.

As far as things being quiet, that seems like a direct result of the work those very same representatives you mislabeled. You should thank them rather than disparage their work. They're there for you and your own admission, things are quiet.
Nice level of fluff you got here. Oh and to clarify something else. Look at the first comment. Note I never even mentioned that you actually have those extra heads in my Locals current administration. I stated only the elected positions.

But thank you for confirming that you may have (or need) too many layers. As a dues paying member I don't feel so many layers are needed when others are already compensated quite well.

Goes to show once again why some on the forums page whack our Union honestly.

Question:

Does a fish have intelligence?

A man throws a line into the water with plastic shiny bait. A fish grabs it and the man then releases the fish. He throws his line in again and gets the same fish. One more time releases but keeps hooking the same fish?

So the question is. Does the fish have intelligence or is the fish merely too hungry and reacts in instinct to keep grabbing the lure?

Thoughts?

Bob, email me at timnelson63@yahoo.com
I'm on FB if you want to hit me up there. or PM me here.

I'd like some of your insights into this video production as well, along with any additional documentation that you may have. The video may not happen until a week from now as I just got swamped with a few DOL emails.

Maybe he knows he's going to get released and just likes going for the ride

OMG could you please stop sabatoging this site and stop hammering anyone who doesn't see things quite the way you do???? You may actually have an ounce of credibility if you ever actually did something for your membership, but you haven't. Your local people hate your guts and you are taking it out on NYer. Don't blame him, maybe you should start showing up for your flights instead of being lazy blowing up your cell phone while your brothers and sisters are sweating. I don't know many in MIA but when I asked about you and why your local gave you the fewest votes of any candidate, to a man, they all said that you were a nice guy but lazy as heck and for that reason they didn't trust you.

To NYer's credit, he hasn't stooped to the level you have. He has stayed extremely professional while you have kept a bitter pill in your belly. Look dude, get over it. Everyone loses elections at some point. As much as I voice my opinion, I have always supported my local leaders at the IAM and still do. While I understand
dissonant voices, of which my may be the loudest, you need to rejoin your cloth at the TWU instead of being used as a jester by 700 or others who use you and control you for their anti worker agenda.

Learn from the error of your ways and man up brother. Even if you are once bitten twice shy about running for office, you still should be concerned about your credibility insomuch that people respect you.

Always trying to divert the conversation, eh.

Bottom line, you should apologize to those representatives you have disparaged with your political sour grapes and slanderous accusations.

You're a pretty good fisherman yourself there.

Oh look. Shiny bait. Nah. I'm looking for plankton.

Regards.

The bait was really a nice minnow used as bait. Fish likes the taste of the bait. Everyone loves free meals.

Fish +1
Fisherman -1
