I had to scan read numerous posts from around three posters about nothing. If this has been said, my apologies, dovetailing is the seniority method agreed to in the mou. Who is to say how dovetailing works: is it one for one doh? Or two US for one AA? Or, or, or. It should be simple, but here we go.

I broached that yesterday, and got shut down. 1:1 is obviously considered fair and equitable under MB, but so are ratios like 2:1, or 3:2. Same story if you base it on number of A/C each carrier brought to the party.

I know it's been settled (and yes, I read it), but it still seems like there's a lot of open items that need to be resolved. Unless you got with straight up DOH, there's always something, and even that's not so simple!

I had a conversation with a "friend" yesterday and as far as Fleet is concerned the issues are minor. Mostly regarding tie breakers. Although Charlie Brown already said this last week it doesn't seem like too many may have paid attention to him.

The majority of any issues are between the two groups in Maintenance and they are discussing that on thier thread already.

I asked earlier, but you may have missed it: Can you name the 12-13 different methods of integration that meet the "fair and equitable" standards of M-B? It's not a gotcha question; I can think of 8ish, but can't recall the rest.

The iam waived the fair and equitable standards under mba by creating The Association. At that point, the mba says the application of seniority will be based on the cbagent policy. The association policy is spelled out. However, we arent members of the association, thus the iam is breaching our rights under mba.

Suing javits, the company, and the twu and iam for their arrangement that results in anything less than fair.

This assumes that i am correct and it would b class action and involve piedmont and twu peeps.

Remember, i am neither represented or a member of the same union. The asssociation membership is only 2 members and was created to circumvent the mba.

No they won't get there seniority until we have a joint contract. AA people at EWR are on the bottom of the list I'm sure of all people you know how that goes

Thanks for the info. I know that they hired once AA took back the ramp after Worldwide left. I thought that once the takeback was in effect, that all LAA people could come back to their home station, and the seniority issues were settled afterwards. I can see the situation that they are in........  Also, didn't AA hire a couple of the former Worldwide people too? Or it is strictly a LUS ramp?
