I signed a non disclose contract. Not allowed legally to discuss that. But put it to you this way. Thanks to the IAM I'll never have to touch my own laundry basket ever again. I get the impression that you dislike your job. I haven't worked the bagroom in months as I love working the ramp, except in the cold, but I'm not the only one that loves working at the airport. Yes, I enjoy it so not sure what your problem is as you seem to talk down about our job.

And you can't have it both ways. On the one hand you claim "The money is there" and this TA is going to be so great that all of the Local Presidents will win re-election. But then you say that the company is stalling and offering us significantly less than the previous non union peeps upstairs. Which is it?

You are inciting the IAM portion of our negotiations by shilling for them. The reality is that if this Association keeps D'ing around with our money then things are going to get really nasty for the Association. You can trust me on that part. They D%ed around for 9 months with Klima's tantrum, then they scrambled 4 months claiming the two Labor organizations were reconciling proposals and now missed the window. NYer was right and you were wrong. You stood by this dopey strategy and claimed everything was going to be turnkey, while NYer claimed that the 9 month delay and other delays were going to be costly.

The longer this drags out, the more you are going to look like a true idiot. You are, I think, a sane and capable guy but you been hoodwinked. At some point, you will realize that the I'll Ask Management is a fraud, and hopefully you will be smart enough to admit that you were wrong.

what difference does it make? you get the same thing. two guys, neither of which has any business negotiating contracts of this magnitude, nor should be representing locals the size of dfw. and if size matters then sidney should be in there at least representing the voices__of almost 25% of the entire membership.

Exactly why isn't Sidney there? This thing is so damn political it is not only a joke but harmful. The Local President of MIA should be there. And the Local President of ORD should be there.

At any rate, judging by the stalled pace of things, it may be good, politically for them, if they aren't. These guys missed the window and will have to concede language now and still get less than the CWA.
