That's not called BS. That's called negotiating. Remember what Charlie Brown said. "Scratch and claw"

Or would you prefer bending over from our guys? If they do since they represent all of us, you're picking up that so

"Scratch and claw"= another excuse for lack of production

what difference does it make? you get the same thing. two guys, neither of which has any business negotiating contracts of this magnitude, nor should be representing locals the size of dfw. and if size matters then sidney should be in there at least representing the voices__of almost 25% of the entire membership.
Sidney supported and pimped to the members that the Association was the best option rather than slogging it out with each other. He was bought and paid for by Jim Little 100%. He sold out his own members early by using the roll call vote to give up cabin service (pre bankruptcy) for a cost neutral agreement because he didn't care about the work and believed our members were lazy and did a horrible job.

He was promised a job at the International to be the new information man for the TWU and had built a FB page and was running it behind the scenes while out in Hurst looking for a house. The man has no honor or integrity and no one currently in the International or in the Negotiations trusts him.

Anyway. So he supports the Association understanding full well how the structure was going to work and what does he do when he gets back in office? Starts calling people trying to replace one of the guys that was already picked to negotiate for us. He's got a whole hell of a lot of balls that I can say. And BTW on that one he was told to pound sand. He HATES the current leadership in the TWU and I don't think they're too fond of him either. All because he lost his Golden Ticket to the Texas promised land. Awwww.

Oh goodness. Another unknown poster with only 52 posts? How many handles can one guy make here on Forums?

Are you a pal of Sid's?

Exactly why isn't Sidney there? This thing is so damn political it is not only a joke but harmful. The Local President of MIA should be there. And the Local President of ORD should be there. At any rate, judging by the stalled pace of things, it may be good, politically for them, if they aren't. These guys missed the window and will have to concede language now and still get less than the CWA.
I bet you got your supposed business degree from the Acme school in Looney Tune land sitting next to Daffy?

It isnt important where i got my degrees from as i am not part of the idiots who missed the window.

Btw, yes sidney supported the association under conditions and warned you and others that now isnt the time to stick out chest and brag about egos. Now look at the mess you espoused!

Weasel, you and other shills are playing with our money. Sorry fella but you chose the wrong side as 700 manipulated you on the iam.

We using post count as a measure of credibility now?

Where'd you get yours from?
Never claimed I had any particular degrees. Just my High School one. And I got that one a little late too cause I was busy having fun.

Do you claim to have any particular degrees you might not really have Kev?

He sees "ghost of tim nelson" everywhere. Truth is that i like weasel. But he is affecting our negotiations by inciting the nc into chest pounding mode.

The chest pounding against the twu by klima to protect miller cost us 9 months. Then 4 months of "priortizing and reconciling" articles between the 2. The local pres from mia was the only leader who stepped up and said that the 2 labor groups could have and should have already had their homework done.

Weasel reasoned and promised that delaying talks for 18 months was a great thing because instead of $28, we will now get $30.77 cuz "the money is there".

Unfortunately, the company now has to offer less of a total package to us than it offered the cwa cuz we missed a great economic window. We will still get a decent ta but these guys blew it and cost us alot. Hopefully, they start putting the members first and do their job. Everyone except the nc understands we are losing $950 a month as this association is proving to be a disaster.

And i think the only way a ta wont pass is if twu peeps are forced into the iampf.

Sito, stop it! At most, allow a choice, but the iampf is a complete disaster and hopefully management doesnt agree to any additional iampf but to expand the lus 401 as well.
Management should know that other than a few lus, most of us would rather have any additional retirement contribution in a 401 along with current iampf. I personally would want all company contributions in a 401 due to being fully informed. Hopefully parker doesnt bow to sito on the total contribution goin into sitos hands.

7% above the top Delta rate when this started came out to $26.54

3% above the top rate UAL will receive in November comes out to $30.77

If you have a business degree why do you always keep getting confused with numbers?

The IAM will not agree to let you out of the IAMPF.

I see multiple scenarios occurring here?

Status quo. You keep your IAMPF (with an increase to the contributions) and we keep our 5.5% match.

We (AA) are given the choice to join the IAMPF giving up any match contributions to our 401k

Or we all get both like UAL members will currently enjoy? Which is a contributer that works out to around $80 per month times years of service and a 3% match (2 stools)

C'mon Sito come through for us. Davey wants to put another leg on that old stool.

Why am I not surprised by any of this. I remember this guy from from when he started at JFK in 87-88(?).

He's actually very smart. But totally in it for himself. He has a David Koresh style following here and has quite a few people mesmerized. They think he's an introvert and just misunderstood so they rally around to protect him. Or he speaks out about everything (Loud voice) and people think he's a tough guy with management. But when a member challenges him he never shows the guts to come out and challenge them to their faces when they hit him on his possible BS. (I call him out constantly and say lets have a coffee and talk, never takes me up on it)

He's known as the Facebook President. There's even a funny meme floating around "Sidney for Facebook President"
