The IAM will not agree to let you out of the IAMPF.

I see multiple scenarios occurring here?

Status quo. You keep your IAMPF (with an increase to the contributions) and we keep our 5.5% match.

We (AA) are given the choice to join the IAMPF giving up any match contributions to our 401k

Or we all get both like UAL members will currently enjoy? Which is a contributer that works out to around $80 per month times years of service and a 3% match (2 stools)

C'mon Sito come through for us. Davey wants to put another leg on that old stool.
Obviously the IAM won't allow me out. That is wrong but true.

He's actually very smart. But totally in it for himself. He has a David Koresh style following here and has quite a few people mesmerized. They think he's an introvert and just misunderstood so they rally around to protect him. Or he speaks out about everything (Loud voice) and people think he's a tough guy with management. But when a member challenges him he never shows the guts to come out and challenge them to their faces when they hit him on his possible BS. (I call him out constantly and say lets have a coffee and talk, never takes me up on it)

He's known as the Facebook President. There's even a funny meme floating around "Sidney for Facebook President"
Never doubted his smarts. In fact Sid always reminded me of the guy in a room who thinks he's the smartest one there..in fact he'll tell you he is.

Sorry guys for derailing the thread. I haven't worked at AA for a long while which is why I don't post in here. Good luck on the contract.

OMG. you are afraid of him and walk right by him in the hallways. Afraid because he is smarter than you AND because the MIA membership has his back and NOT yours. Your own would never vote for you and when I placed calls to key people in MIA they told me that you were a nice guy but blew off flights while loafing or playing on your cell phone. I don't claim that is the altogether truth as to why you broke the new record for less votes in a Local election but I admit you convinced me that MIA was going to vote for you and that Sidney wasn't liked by anyone. At the end of the day, you actually hurt and crushed your own ticket I heard.

Whatever the case, move on!

The IAM asked me to join and gave me a very convincing pitch. "Dave if you join our plan we can keep it propped up and Tim Nelson can retire. We give him a year before he croaks from extreme loneliness and drinks himself to oblivion"

Now how can I refuse that sales pitch?

Count me in baby.

I got the next update. "Progress". Um, well, that's going to be the narrative anyways. Hopefully, they learn from the error of their ways and expedite the splitting up of the known pie that most of us already can figure out. Parker probably just shakes his head at them. Also, not sure if Jerry Glass will last this out. I'm thinking he won't be around past July or August if I'm going by history.

What is the schedule from here moving forward?
I think they have 2 weeks in July, starting next Monday after 4 weeks, including hmmhawing about seniority again among themselves in ORD. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Even by the weasel's standards, things are at a crawl. Most of us already know what we are getting and so I wish they would cut the crap before they have to give up more things.

how many articles still open?
I think like 17, most of the meat and potato ones. They already settled the preamble, union bulletin boards and some of the other tougher ones that led to absurd delays.
But weasel still claims $30.77 and that the unnecessary stalling was to our advantage.

It wasn't stalling more like stumbling, meandering but it did  work to our advantage God watches over fools

Something is wrong and we have to find out what is going on.

You'll need to purchase platform shoes to be able to peer over that wall.

Your normal lift insoles aren't going to cut it.

My visions going south so I guess I could hold him up. I'm glad one of you shills finally admitted there is a IAM wall. I know you can't tell me but if I guess how much you are getting paid will you put up a smiley face? I'm thinking your IAM payroll number is 701

everything I said is unfortunately showing up now, and everything you have said has been incorrect. You just don't listen, bro. The window has changed and that is why they are offering our group significantly less than the previous non union non contract peeps upstairs. Let's hope that the committee learns from its errors and expedites the piece of the pie and limits any further damages. We already know that the "Money is there" and that Parker freely will give us PS. It's time to wrap this sideshow up.

Sideshow? shouldn't they be in the "Main Tent" by now?
