if it is reduced down to that then tuff to argue unless other things are whacked.
That's why as a single guy I could care less either way. I think you, me and Worldport will survive.

Won't matter to me after we get our JCBA. Tim will basically be on ice for 5 years unable to cause any meaningful harm. His new mission will be nothing more than getting cleaner bathrooms and new microwaves for the breakrooms.

If he sees an injustice he will be there.Contracts may be every 5 years or so but there are always elections. Perhaps some day Tim's name will be on your pocket calendar

Labor needs people that throw the occasional brick through the window.

You want groupthink, come work with me...

Yes I have said he does serve a purpose. And even said it to some of the people who's nerves he certainly does get on.

Good point on this one Kev.

Oh Please. I'm done with being a candidate. I'm a lousy politician although I never lost a Local election. And the TWU local up here seems fine. I have always supported my IAM Local and I currently support the TWU local. I just wish a few TWU guys would work together in ORD but that's another matter. What I haven't supported is the ignorance of ignorant people in the district union or intl. Shamefully, we had a few AGC's just sell out Spirit.

All Spirit conversations have been moved to Aviation Chatter Tim.

Tim's a steward, you do something management deems it requires a hearing and he is the only one there, do you use him or not, W?

Well he needs a scribe as well and I could say I want the scribe to be the primary but anyway sure. But first I'd have to quiz him on the direction I'd want him to take in the hearing depending on the situation and hear what ideas he might have as well. I'd like to see if we can figure out a solution so we don't have to go through the grievance process if possible because I've always preferred to try and handle any situation without all the red tape.

When management is finished with their questions we'd confer in private to see what questions Tim is going to ask me and see if I think he should add anything?

Essentially I'd make sure he's prepared before he comes in to represent me.

Tim I'm curious. Have you ever actually been a Steward and represented anyone in a hearing or saved an individual's job through the talent of knowing and understanding your contract or your company's rules and regulations?

You've told the board and other social media outlets a million times about the other things that you've done, but I never hear or read you discuss any items related to simple one on one representation? And that also doesn't necessarily mean just filing grievances. Any Steward can file a grievance and pass the buck of a problem up the ladder for someone else to handle. That one seems to be the norm for many Stewards who have no confidence in their own people person, problem solving skills.

He was grievance committee chairman at ORD and was removed from office for dual unionism
