Maybe at the former AA airlines, the management and TWU reached quick agreement in the 3-6 months time frame. I don't know. And even though the name is still AA, it is US management now calling the shots. I can tell you from experience a 9 - 12 month agreement for this management team would be considered a quick agreement for them. I can also tell you that the company just isn't offering us 30 a hour without stipulations. A quick agreement, at 30 dollars a hour with no concessions isn't what is being offered. For those that think it is? Then your dreaming. If and when we end up with such a deal, it will be because of many hours of back and forth negotiating. This management team has and always will try to be as cost neutral as they can be. The challenge for our team is to get what we deserve without concessions. Yes we all wish it would come quick. But we who have dealt with this management team before, knows that it doesn't. We have to scratch and claw for everything. This is no surprise to us on the US side. Yes AA lives on. But US management is running the show.
