there really arent any negotiations other than the pie being given to our reps and them trying to figure out how to shuffle it. Parker already claims the money is there and he also tossed in the profit sharing, which wasnt even in either contract.Worldport said:Tim will there be a video upcoming or is it the plan to wait until this string of negotiations are completed?
Association overwhelmingly...again, they need to get out the message better.Worldport said:Would you say the negativity is directed more to the ASS or the company?
The UAL language allows for the company to tell the member after his assignment, I want you to complete the full hour anyway even if he can't give him another assignment. It also appears IMO in that language that they can force one hour nightly how I read it.P. REZ said:We are very aware of what a penalty hour is, I believe US had it years ago too.

Hopefully, they can figure out the rest without reverting to a united contract that only has FT protections for members with 17+ years.
Ill give a negotiation update on lombardo and our ta fairly soon. With the bar set at "The best of both contracts", i think we can all agree thats a low bar. Hopefully Parker gave us more pie than the bar that the union bosses telegraphed. We should be able to settle this already by at least grandfathering small stations and also lowering the twu flight activity bar, keep lavs, catering, tower, clp, and agree to the same days off as cwa which should include another week of vacation, holidays, sick time, etc.
Remember, 700 is a liar and said that the cwa gave up work but that isnt true, they expanded scope to include another 7,000 members who didnt even have a contract. If non contract peeps on the property can go from no scope to 5 flights a day, and zoom right by us on all the other stuff, then we should do alot better since we started from much higher ground of having 2 contracts.
Weaasles is s good man but I don't think he realizes the negativity towards the union. Not everyone pissed at the association is a stupid moronAANOTOK said:Association overwhelmingly...again, they need to get out the message better.
It was called an easy hour at US.P. REZ said:We are very aware of what a penalty hour is, I believe US had it years ago too.

Absolutely something to hold out for. But like I wrote, they shouldn't have to. It benefits the company immensely as well.Worldport said:Fleet didn't have it, maybe in PIT,PHL, BOS,BUF. It sounds nice but not something to hold out for
