It's just you.
BTW, if you're going to keep trying to "other" me, please at least be factually accurate.

It is? I want to hear from AA employees if they appreciate your advice?

So before I leave for work I'll just say this for now. What are you doing to become organized at your airline? The one you actually work for.

Can the little city that you chose to isolate yourself in push the tide to gain you an employment contract where you can really have a voice? Maybe that's why you come here? Because you have NO voice at your airline?

Why don't you really put your neck on the line? Transfer to Atlanta, set up a table and hand out cards. Wear a Union pin. Get on TV and fight for worker fairness like Kip Hedges did.

Or do you just prefer your little "temporary" comfort zone?

There's nothing "comfortable" about our working conditions.

Maybe on that drive in you can turn down VH for a sec and ponder why I've gotten under your skin, and how working toward a better tomorrow for all aviation workers might be a preferable path to take.

And in the interest of staying topical, you might think about how any T/A at "your" carrier with either help or hinder organizing efforts across the industry.

Work safe.

swamt, you need to check post number 2372, i gave the historical perspective to Lombardo's BS, which is what it is.

I maintain, the TWU and the IAM have NO MOTIVATION to get a contract any time soon and I've said why, it starts the clock to their removal.
Prove me wrong.

They are slow stepping this negotiation and will continue while they blow smoke up the membership arses.
I did see your post. It did not address the information that Lombardo was asking from the membership. He asked the members to tell him what the members wanted.  So my suggestion was to flood him with e-mails.
I see how slow you guys are moving as are we and all other unionized groups out there.

And ask sea how long AMFA has been in negotiations at WN.
Once again making yourself look bad here.  AMFA does not just cave to concessions like other unions have in the past.  This shows a much stronger and better prepared union to fight and stand up to the company when representing the entire membership. Not just agreeing to everything the co. wants.  See how it works there skippy???

im going to do a video for the twu peeps discussing the bad and the ugly of the iampf in a Q and A. Hopefully, next week. The leadership has the information on the iampf, so should you.
This is probably a good idea. Show both sides both positive and negative and let the members decide what they want to do.  Just make sure all info is factual.

Nothing personal really since we all know in your own mind you are an expert on multiple matters but perhaps it would be more prudent to hire a Financial expert who has an MBA in Business and provide the firm he runs all pertinent information and documentation in regards to the fund and its current and future assets and liabilities? And let them make a video.

I mean if you're going to provide myself and my Brothers and Sisters financial advice would you please provide this Board your qualifications for being able to do so?

What is your educational attainment? Do you have a Degree in Finance?

To be able to make this very important decision if you're going to publicly display your opinion on the matter I think it's prudent and maybe imperative that we all know you are an expert in this field to provide advice.
If I were in this fund or thought to be soon brought into this fund "I" would do what you say on my own. It's called due diligence on my own retirement. "NEVER" would I ever count on any union or any company promising me what I may or may not have for retirement. And any of you that just sit there waiting for someone to bring you the information deserves everything they get.  Also, if I were in this fund I would already have all that info in my hands and yes thru a hired co. by me to do the in depth research for me, not a huge group or company.  From your answers to Kev and others out here "YOU" don't even know what is in it or not in it, and that my friend is pathetic as you are directly affected by all this and may soon be offered or quite possibly forced into this pension fund.

Thanks, man.

So SWA,

Is your financial advisor a ramper with no degree in business, finance or anything to do with retirements?

Gee can't wait for you to tell your wife your going to listen to retirement advice from an AA ramper who works the bagroom at ORD.

while Kev and I are on opposite ends of many issues.I value his perspective on issues of our industry esp since he works at another airline and one that is non union as well. just my.02

Work safe.
A few months back on one of your FB pages I offered my advice on what your co workers should do to propel their organizing campaign. That idea was politely rejected by one of your "leaders" in the movement.

I did not continue to argue or cajole for my opinion. I accepted the fact that "your" workgroup wanted to do it their way and respected their opinion.

Something obviously you have no ability to learn or respect yourself.

np Kev   I cld be wrong but I think the PT one is .75 cents or 1.15  but not sure  I am sure its 1.50 for every hour a FT works their normal schedule

You never had the option; you were either kicked off that page, or left on your own...

No I'm still there. And still support the individuals who maintained their eye on the ball or the prize.

The big picture you've obviously lost sight of.

I still want to see you gain an "employment contract"

Good. I'm happy to hear it.
I can see very clearly; we just have very different visions of how to get labor back to where it should be.
Anarchy only works if you have the army to back it up. You don't have an Army over there bro. And it's beginning to look like you might not have any Generals either.

Generals don't remain in small encampments bro (Stations)
