There isnt a disagreement on all issues, it was two issues, the tiebreaker and the leads I think.

Basic seniority has been agreed upon already.
Basic seniority has to be agreed to by the membership so it has only been TAd.
As is, your idiots hammered former piedmont employees again, and hammered fuelers and presumably cabin services at LAA. Granted most will take $30 over everything else but im thinking $30 is not on the plate anymore unless these idiots concede more.

Tim,
I love the way you make everything seem so simple. When it comes to seniority you need to look at 2 things, what does the contract say and what would the people do that got affected if changed to straight doh. Think this through Tim. Do you honestly think that an employee that has an advantage now is going to say, well you know that guy was here before me? Now, take the contract language and see what that person who now gets affected by straight doh may do with the language. Hint, it is something you like to do.

I actually only lose 3 months so i was discussing this as a matter of principle. Many from former piedmont would go ahead of me. I think it is fair, nonetheless, with true doh in class. Not sure how America west did it but from their perspective and yours i think you wouldnt want to change anything. Id imagine CLT would differ along with most former piedmont. But we are outnumbered.

That could be an option for our negotiators to avoid any problems. But I'd put my Condo up on the bet it's not going to happen and they won't hear even an entertainment of it from the company.
Was in miami a couple weeks ago and took that bus 150 to the beach. I noticed the tri rail is also right there at the central station. I imagine that mia employees could live 40 miles away and still have convenient access to public transportation. A condo in pbi would only be an hour away it seems from the clock. Great system.

We used to do it by last name at NW. IIRC, that got me something like 30 spots on the PT (DOH) list...
Correct. That is why I considered changing my name to Aaron Aardvark.

Seems to me birthday would be the simplest way if not the fairest. A person born 1-1-1960 is more senior than a 1-2-1960, therefore your Seniority rule is maintained.

I wish you had let me know that you were here. All those names you like to call everyone. I think it would have been fantastic to get together and discuss that with you. That really would have been an enjoyable experience (for me)

Of course the same year same day birthday would need a solution...coin toss, rock-paper-scissors!

Is it considered a high seniority job?
AANOTOK to get into the tower at CLT you have to interview for it, if they take you it's at least 6 mths probation I think. If you don't cut it it's back to the ramp.
Once you're there it's a seniority bid.PM shift is not that senior and many of them are pitiful at the job.

In fairness to them as a CC I hear many times they have a manager over their shoulder demanding the plane get put on a gate somewhere
