A mere footnote.
The TA on holidays will take no time, it will simply mirror what the Dispatchers got.
Most things will mirror. The company is seeing if we have fools for negotiators and trying to slide concessions into the mix. I believe the NC is standing their ground, hence the drawn out process (for the most part).

thx WeAA      Traymark  you cld very well be right   I also believe our NC is standing the ground for us the membership because profits speak for itself  theres no real reason we should give anything up and I believe our NC sees that and cld be using that in the talks with company

For the record, what the Dispatchers got on holidays is basically a concession from what we had in the 2001 contract.
But lets not get caught up in crazy town, it's long past time to get a deal done.

Do you guys get time and a half for working the fourth or double time. I'm working for time and a half.
We get regular time plus 8 hours so if you look at it double time. we only have 7 holidays a year. We used to have 10 holidays regular time plus time and a half. That is before bankruptcy and you know who and his boys negotiated everything away. Not personally his fault though, but since he was standing watch he gets the blame. Just the way it goes sometime

Update

We have 6 weeks scheduled through the end of August and I'm sure you have noticed some money Articles have been passed (Sick leave and Holidays). We will obviously try to narrow the gaps on the Articles out there not TA'd yet, which is around 7 of them. I expect to see more money Articles in the near future as well. I will reiterate that I wish we had a deal 3 months ago but am not willing to bring a crap deal back just to get it done.

I have briefed in my breakrooms that after negotiations are over I would be willing to sit down with anyone and walk them through the process of negotiations. It is a very frustrating process that I wish everyone could be a part of during their career. As for not being specific enough for some of you out there, I can only say that the risk of compromising a position is too great to take that chance. I know that everybody is anxious, I can assure you that we are all in that room working together to get the best deal possible.

Explaining the process is a good idea. The only thing we have been told by a former negotiator is that we are ignorant and clueless of the process.

Negotiated everything away?

It me been 14 years since the first chapter 11 and it's amazing how some people still dont.understand chapter 11 and how it protects the company and the creditors, not the employees.

you never do either you spill the same every post. Let's see it's i was on the nc. That dose not impress me much. When your nc gave jobs up. I believe Tim about that. Then your always pumping up the Iam . You also make fun of people who do not agree with you. Your rude and your arrogant. So your all way asking people if they can comprehend. Most people on all the threads are tired of your crap. tired of your tactics I know your going to cry about my post.
Conehead Happy fourth are you on the mend or still waiting for your operation? Hope all is well

Okay you were present when it was stripped. Did any IAM officers take a pay cut? Did they ground the private jet?Rent out any space in the training center? My dues didn't go down

Every single AGC and GC took cuts when we did.

When UA went into ESOP, all the 141 AGCs who even weren't UA employees took cuts, you didn't when that occurred, as you were US, not UA.

Oh poor baby does the truth hurt your feelings?

Still not intelligent enough to understand the concept of a message board, I see.

You don't own the forum, nor do you make the rules, don't like it use the ignore feature.

Nope, didn't book any events today so everyone could enjoy the holiday off.
