I know UAL contributes more to their retirement. I'm pretty sure they get 6 weeks vacation and holidays might be 2.5. I think their total  compensation is larger than ours

6 fixed Hollidays and 2 floating Hollidays one being their Birthday. Straight time pay plus time and one half. But there are a few caveats you have to read. 6 weeks vacation.

Yes on an individual basis if we were paid comparable for BASE pay, they would be compensated higher because of other items like the items you mentioned.

I would have to go back and look it up. But it was right after UA announced a TA and the question was brought up about that. That is when he stated we would be "in line" with others. Earlier in this thread I posted the quote and Road show/Town hall it was at.
Sorry. Never did check it out. Would need to do it at home and just keep forgetting. But it is very important to know exactly how the question was worded to him. He could have been answering a question about Labor costs or the value of a particular contract when he said "comparable"?

Although no. I won't be satisfied personally with "comparable" if he was referring to direct wages. Like I said yesterday, I'm fed up with listening to the talking head anymore.

Or "inline" same crap. (Abscond, Steal also same crap)

Who is we? Sorry but keep your fairy tale to yourself. Im not interested in paying $400 a month in health care, having supervisors do our work, and having as much part time as management wants. Never mind only 28 stations. You may want to take 2 steps backwards with a contract that has no part time rulse and not even any job security for anyone who doesnt have 17 years but thats the difference between me and you...you just want the cash like all iam pollyannas and are very willing to leave our peeps in guessing game mode.

What is this video everybody keeps talking about?
Bob, i produced a video explaining the zaps and traps of the iampf that is objective and professional. It will be presented to the twu peeps soon on my fb group called "The Association twu/iam uncensored" Its the union's official fb page i created. Has 1,800 members.

I also did an objective video regarding javits and the fact that none of us are Association members. It includes a small snipet on why the association is the oddball union still without a ta. Admittedly, the snipet is just my perspective. Most info will be referenced and objective but info that 700, weasle, and the twuiam would prefer leaving out. I believe in informed consent so there must be full disclosure.

As always, i encourage peeps to do their own research.

I would think since our negotiations not exactly a love-fest he would have to say that  to give his side something to work with. He's better  off giving the 3+ UAL just so he doesn't have to hear it from 30,000 employees for the next 7 years

The association announced  the Javits appointment like it was something positive I see it as a step back. I thought all the seniority  issues were worked out.

the framework was worked out but the integration and interpretation of the definitions is always something that becomes problematic. I believe they violated my McCaskill Bond rights because I am not a member of the Association, nor does the Association represent me. Javits ascribed us as members of the association [read his letter]. Remember, the Association constitution strictly forbids any membership other than 2 members, i.e., Chairman and Vice Chairman. We are not members.

I also believe the agreement between the association, company, and Javits can be tested. One thing I am certain of is that none of us are members of the Association. And the Association bylaws place and imput representation under each separate Collective Bargaining Agent. The Association seems to be a legal front to avoid the first step of the MB [act]. As such, any decision and determination that negatively affects ones seniority, and in an unfair manner should be challenged. Remember, it's 'fair and equitable' and not 'subject to the union policy' if I am correct. I'm interested in this, whether I will need to establish a case or not, or win it or not. Just very interesting stuff to me. And, I can pursue this for hobbysake, without affecting negotiations.

Real hamburger helper Weaasles?should have packed it for lunch or are sardine sandwiches and liverwurst and onions  pitas still your standard

got news for you fellows. we are not going to see anything anytime soon, if ever. first its delta +4%, then delta plus 3% now parity. pretty soon the road shows stop conversations stop happening and any thing WE are dreaming of getting disappears  like a puff of smoke. they have no intention of paying ANY association members anything. Why should they?

i just got an email from local 591 to rally for the TSA agents. why the hell are we not rallying for ourselves? the height of stupidity. the pilots come out and complain about contract violations and toxic work relationships and we say nothing.....

enjoy your dreams ad keep making excuses coulda, shoulda, woulda and we still have squat.

Saw this for the first time just now.

Parker says nothing about + anything. He says "equal to", and in fact also says , (paraphrasing)   "we can't be paying more than other airlines because that leads to airlines that don't work".

So the money train is quickly leaving town, but don't worry , we've been assured by the pro-ass folks that all is well.

I'll be watching for the negotiation schedule for 2017 in upcoming updates, but hey, the uniforms look great.

The speakers on our work computers stink. And I really like to disseminate the question and response. When Parker lies I've noticed a body language routine he has. (No joke)
