I'm expecting +3% and 55 differential. When do they start negotiations again.?WeAAsles said:They'll go to $29.87 on November 1.
I know that the LUS guys told us this mgmt team takes a long time to do a deal, but this is really bad faith by mgmt IMO. The Association has not helped matters by failing to push a lot harder. Hopefully they have all the numbers they need to figure a total package that has no concessions. After hearing mgmts false remarks on those town halls about wanting to do a deal it's pathetic. The leadership of the unions has not done squat to help. The NC people can deal with the company but the union leadership has not helped them either. Dazed and confused is how they appear.AANOTOK said:He let you know in no uncertain terms that it's not possible to keep jumping to be the industry leader. He also stated that it would be "inline", not +7 or even +3, that is no longer on the teleprompter. I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm just saying that my confidence has taken a hit...My fear is a "+" will now be covered by a concession that wasn't previously part of the proposal or was on of the "set aside" items. The longer it goes was once something I felt benefited us, now I'm not so sure.
Perhaps there is a smidgen of truth to Tim's negotiation claims. I hope he comes out with a "Negotiation video" I'll spring for the Captain Morgan. Funny how he went from a pisswater beer to top-shelf boozTalos said:I know that the LUS guys told us this mgmt team takes a long time to do a deal, but this is really bad faith by mgmt IMO. Top shelf booz? I wish. The video's just include Jack & Honey. I cleaned up the laundry basket a bit and I'm not as grubby. Had to redo the one video because I watched it and the webcam caught me scratching my nuts. I gotta be more professional.Perhaps there is a smidgen of truth to Tim's negotiation claims. Don't bother we will be scratching our nads and our heads while we watch it and I'll probably be picking my nose and my butt But your negotiation theory may very well hold some merit Too bad about the laundry basket you were associated with it the same way Steven Tyler is associated with his bandanasTim Nelson said:Top shelf booz? they better have things wrapped up no later than September or I'm going to open up a can of whoop arse on them and ear hole them. These guys don't know what they are doing and they don't care. They already blew it and now they are scrambling with mind boggling updates where they are misusing the word 'progress' like Vicinny [sp?] misused the word 'inconceivable'.Don't bother we will be scratching our nads and our heads while we watch it and I'll probably be picking my nose and my butt But your negotiation theory may very well hold some merit Too bad about the laundry basket you were associated with it the same way Steven Tyler is associated with his bandanas
If we were to start a new poll, I would have to say January before we are actually operating under one contract. I do believe the NC could throw anything out there at this point and it would be voted in. In my opinion, that's scary!Tim Nelson said:they better have things wrapped up no later than September or I'm going to open up a can of whoop arse on them and ear hole them. It doesnt matter if they are meeting or not. The update will use terms like progress but they already know what parker is giving us. I mean there is nothing our morons can do anyways, right?AANOTOK said:I'm assuming they are meeting this week, does anyone know the schedule?
robbedagain said:Tim from what Prez and CB have posted on here it sure seems theyre making pretty good progress But you need to remember its teh combing of the TWU and IAM contracts into one binding agreement and getting the contract rules and other agreements in it along with getting mgmt to agree to terms that our nego team laid out Youll recall that the first meeting (DFW??) the company, not the union was the one not prepared Imagine that the company not prepped no shocker there This mgmt team wants to get binding agreements for the purpose of satisfying those share holders but its the mgmt team that is doing the stalling I do think (my own opin) that we will have some sort of JCBA in Sept may be voting on it October and taking affect thereafter TWU and the IAM had different contract languages Its not easy putting 2 different unions and contracts into one binding agreement I think their doing much better than in past negos with this monkey arse mgmt team
