Don't confuse a one time $1,000 bonus with a $1,000 raise.

The bonus isn't a raise. But it's the bribe necessary so that when the employee gets a raise in salary next year of $1,000. per year, ..they'll jump with joy at the altruism of the market...and completely ignore the fact that the execs got a million dollar raise. It used to be that a job in the C Suite was an easy ticket to becoming a millionaire via your paycheck. I have an idea that this tax cut will push a lot of them into the billionaires club via the paycheck.

No doubt Moore will sue in Federal court to try and make the State of Alabama keep holding elections until he wins. I'm sure the Supreme Court will concur--especially since Moore was removed twice as a State Supreme Court justice for telling state officials they could ignore rulings and orders from the U.S. Supreme Court. Judges just love it when you thumb your nose at them.

Doesn't have to. The results are the results. It doesn't matter if he concedes, throws a fit, or files another useless lawsuit, the State of Alabama has certified Mr. Jones as the next Senator from Alabama. For future reference, this applies to any election anywhere in the U.S. Please note--It is not a requirement that the loser concede the election. That is a common courtesy held over from the years when opponents from different parties basically gave assurance that they could still work together for the common good of the community--local, state, or national.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, President Donald Trump said he knows the media will help win the 2020 presidential election, because if he's not in office for them to cover, they'll “tank.”


“Another reason that I’m going to win another four years is because newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes,” Trump said.


He then took a jab at the publication the reporter belongs to: “Without me, The New York Times will indeed be not the failing New York Times, but the failed New York Times.”


“So they basically have to let me win,“ Trump continued. ”And eventually, probably six months before the election, they’ll be loving me because they’re saying, ‘Please, please, don’t lose Donald Trump.’ OK.”

The event that made a statement of concession meaningless was the statement by the senior Senator from Kentucky--Mitch McConnell--that the primary work of the Republican U.S. Senators would be to make Obama a one-term President. No statement of working together for the good of the country.

(I'm sure that the fact that Obama was our first Black President had nothing to do with their (wildly unsuccessful) attempt to make him a one-term President by doing absolutely nothing for 4 years-- well, other than 50+ meaningless votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act.)

What planet do you live on? Most of our allies loved Obama. They even had watch parties all across Europe in 2012 and stayed up all night to see if he would win again. They did not have to debate in Great Britain, one of our strongest allies, over whether Obama would be invited to visit the country. Most of the world cannot stand Trump, just like the majority of U.S. Citizens last November (Hillary got more votes), and now when Trump has the lowest approval rating of modern history at this point in the presidency. No point in trying to discuss anything with you if your statements fall outside of reality. Bye.
