USAPA: a spite union formed to get out of a binding arbitration and to disenfranchise the AWA pilots.

I am unfamiliar with any legitimate publishers who impugn and assail their own credibility by chasing subscribers on message boards. Even self-styled part time bloggers would not admit their desperation so candidly.
 
I have been told by two separate reliable sources that "Cleary and Mowery was calling in sick for training for the last couple of months to get the summer off and continue getting a full paycheck at their previous King and I rates while they were in power."

The more things change the more they stay the same at USAPA. Not only does Cleary, and apparently Mowrey want to bank vacation, they are currently getting paid their LOA 95 pay and stipends too. These men ran the Association into the ground on their union paid cell phone from home while the rest of us worked to pa their three-year vacation while they were in office organizing the Permanent Injunction and No New Contract.

When will USAPA and its leadership ever change?
I got word that Cleary Mowery and Brennen are all out on medical.

Man that union work trying to steal from the west must be exhausting. Theurer, Davis how many full time flight pay loss whores don't want to fly?
 
The work he was doing was too important to leave unattended (sarcasm).

It has always been so interesting how the average US East pilot turns on its' MEC or BBR leaders without fail. Without really knowing them, or what they do. I think this explains entirely why the East group always fails to achieve a decent contract, and takes excessive concessions when compared to the rest of the industry. It is no coincidence whatsoever. I will bet you 99% of the critics never did one iota of work for their fellow pilots, or did anything more than run scared when any management said merely BOO! Led by the biggest scared pilot USA320. The biggest and most easily frightened of them all. How this group gives this person an ear amazes me. If you look into his record, you will find a host of issues. There are nothing but biased opinions. Entirely.
I do admire the cohesion of the West group. They are entirely more organized than the East, and work together. I will bet 9 of 10 East poster here voted themselves LOA 93 without understanding what they were doing.
I do not know what Cleary did, or did not do with his vacation.

The point is the West unites all the time. They vote. They hang behind Fergusson, who is a very intelligent leader. He was on the street for ID theft, allegedly, yet they back him and get him through.Where did you see one, one attack by a West pilot on Fergusson? My point is the East group will attack their leadership unilaterally, without knowing what are not or what are facts. Management notices. They use it. They triumph with it. Look at the former AWA and their contract today.Look at how the AWA pilots got profit sharing, and we did not get parity. There is a definite reason for it. Their contract. Remember what they started with. Now look at yours. Ours. The worst in the industry. There is a reason for it. And I read a lot of it right on this thread. It goes back pretty far. It is no coincidence. Look at the West voting numbers, look at the East. Says it all. The West guys deserve a lot of credit. They work and get what they want.

You know what goes on back east better than I do. I think the current devide in the east is caused because of the differing goals. One group wants DOH and is willing to wage an all out war through the union on the west pilots. The other group, while they may hate the Nic, knows this is the wrong way to run a union.

I don't think the west was as united as it is now, prior to USAPA. I understood some of the anger on the east and was on the fence for a short period. That was until the east voted in USAPA and started attacking west pilots along with failing to represent me as a union. That's when I hoped off the fence and started helping dig the trenches.

The west pilots have a history, which they will be the first to brag about, of holding their past union reps accountable and throwing them out of office when necessary. Have we in the east ever had a successful recall?

I am a critic and I have not done any union work. But I pay my dues, walked the picket line when asked, attended meetings and did my part when we were urged to be 'on board'. Do I have a right to speak my mind or is that only reserved for those who have served in office or committee?

We made a decision back in 2008, individually and collectively, to oust ALPA and fight the Nic. The result is a house divided - and no house divided can acheive its goals until the seniority issue is resolved.

All of us, whether FOCers (friends of Cleary) like you or Compass Correctors like me, need to accept that sobering fact and quit bitching.

This pilot group has been divided all the way back to 1989. Roll call votes, back biting, dirty dealing, underhanded lying power hungry idiots. And WE are the idiots that kept putting them in there. Whos fault is LOA 93...the MEC. Whos fault is the NIC...the MEC. Who gave away the profit sharing...the MEC. The list goes on. And then there is the Cleary/Mowery trainwreck. Nice job boys! Way to go! You REALLY showed them, huh?

This ain't new dude. This is the same record playing over and over for the last 23 years.

What all you compass types need to understand is you work for America West Airlines. The Tempe types have never paid a decent wage and never will. We all know you want your raises and would accept anything to get them. We got the memo a long time ago. Cleary told me one time this group was not ready for a guy like him. Boy was he right! Don't worry Compass supporters you have some of the most dishonest guys leading you to the promise land.

What is going on them? Is it that they are above being line pilots? Are they concerned about having to fly with their Compass Correction critics?

Or is it that they just like sitting on their collective asses for a paycheck?

And their some of the low life Franke Air ASU rejects that this management team hires is one of the biggest problems here.
 
Let's just dispense with the bullshit and pay for Cleary's vacation. It's going to happen, we all know it.
 
What concerns me is our own union attorneys are telling us how weak our current leadership is and are not using the leverage they have. Thers compass correction boys have know clue what's going on, just ask Mike for some help!!!!!
