June - US Pilots Labor Discussion

Hmmm. I've been preaching these very verses but my credibility isn't up to par. A merger would benefit AA over US.

Thought this would be of interest...this letter below from DeWitt Ingram, CLT USAPA Board of Pilot Representatives Candidate for Appeal Board Seat 3, to US Air pilots; pretty illuminating stuff to digest, don't you think?

That's certainly of interest, and should be to all concerned. Thanks for the post PB.

The only illuminating thing here is what a bunch of fukin scabs you easties are.

Not really little one. The "illuminating thing" in your elegant post is that you've proved yourself so unbelivably clueless as to not even know the poster's history of being one of the most respected union people to ever represent and serve the AFA members at US.

Oh well. Keep thrashing those well worn pom poms for the American merger...assuming you've some not already worn out from years of celebrating AOL's established insanity. A kind suggestion would be to clean the drool and spittle from your keyboard before it locks up completely.

I've said that for a long time - you make things up that wouldn't even enter the mind of a normal person.

Jim

Your employment of the phrase "mind of a normal person" is most amusing indeed. 😉 I'm surprised (and of course honored) that you could, in your retirement, take even a moment's time away from hysterically denouncing and denigrating all your former coworkers as a group.

"...and in fact resulted in an injunction." So much is always made of this nonsense.....ummm....How long did that little excursion into Wonderland by Wake actually last? How many completely clueless judges can you honestly count on having for any future dives down the rabbit hole?

"....if you think your plan will work then fine. Go for it. Get a DOH JCBA and see what happens." Sounds good to me.

".... just quit and start over somewhere else" If you're as truly upset with the situation here as it generally seems, then perhaps you should heed your own advice. I don't hear that tone from folks out east.

"Too bad the Company won't go along with it though" The company would sell it's figurative mother to slave traders if it would facilitate getting little grubby hands on any bigger-better-deal.....Period.
All five federal judges who have looked at the Addington case have concluded that USAPA has harmed the west. Silver affirmed this in her own hearing at the DJ. Three of those judges determined that the actions of USAPA warranted judicial relief (ripeness), and two of those judges said the courts did not yet have the jurisdiction to provide relief until the situation became fully ripe by their estimation. That's hardly an excursion into Wonderland. So counting all of those judges and also the arbitrators USAPA has gone up against, USAPA has one meaningless "win" on ripeness and the west pilots and the Company have five or six examples of USAPA losing in shameful fashion. Trusting USAPA to properly interpret the law or contract language is like trusting Jerry Sandusky to watch your kids/grand kids.

I'm not upset at all. This is just pure entertainment for me.

If the company would do as you say, then why haven't they engaged in the collusion of USAPAs scheme to disregard the NIC? If its just like negotiating a crew meal then why didn't the Company offer USAPA east pay rates for a DOH contract? The east would still be on LOA93 rates like you are today but would have the DOH list so many want, and both the Company and the east pilots could have hive fived each other for sticking it to the west with a 30% reduction in pay. Instead of fulfilling the east fantasy the Company offered more than $100 million in improvements and has refused to accept any seniority list other than the NIC. Furthermore, instead of waiting out the war of attrition between the pilots, the Company filed the DJ matter in federal court to bring a resolution to this mess knowing that it would cost them millions in legal fees and hundreds of millions more if a resolution led to a JCBA at Kirby rates or better. So, the evidence does not point to the Company selling out anyone and then being guilty of collusion, breach of contract and to be found in violation of federal law. Quite the opposite is true.

Please, I beg you to have mercy. I can't take it anymore! Dont encourage him to keep yacking.

Please, I beg you, keep encouraging HIM to yack. It's riveting, in a "you can't help but stare at their misserable tragedy kind of way."

Really? Please continue to educate and inform by listing all of her contributions to the combined employee group in the past 5 years. And then, feel free to add how the "victories" of USAPA have had a multiplier effect on those accomplishments.

This shouldn't take long, unless you choose to depressurize your windbag by deflecting rather than making a substantive answer.

The only illuminating thing here is what a bunch of fukin scabs you easties are. How can you read that crap and not see that what you low lifes have done to this pilot group is 10 times worse? you are nothing but a bunch of filthy cum guzzling goats, scab is too nice of a word for you gutter trash.

Are your USAPA dues placing you in financial hardship? It appears you are unable to afford your meds.

If you are truly a West pilot and not just a provocateur then you need to see a shrink before you stroke out. XXOO!

First off, Dewitt is a complete idiot.

Second, this "campaign letter" is anything but and is technically an illegal use of this communications tool. But, of course, the corruption that is USAPA looks the other way.

And finally, Dumbass Dewitt and the rest of you easties have got to come to grips with the fact that you've already been left behind. Your majority is irrelevant to this merger.

Said the east guy being marginalized by Parker.

Are you crying about everything you gave up to get Parker this far as well?

The east is anything if not absolutely predictable. DeWit-less knows his farm animals out east very well and how they respond to fear mongering. Heck it lead them to ditch the only hope they had of getting a decent seniority integration. They have the emotions of a 13 year old girl, and choose to allow it to drive the policy for 5000 adults.

Still, will anyone hold Witt-less accountable for his fear mongering? How many pilots were furloughed immediately in the wake of, and as a direct result of, PBS implementation at AWA?

C'mon easties. Recognize this moron for what he is. Keep him mumbling to himself on the flightdeck.

"... contributions to the combined employee group..." ...? What would you even begin to fantasize yours to be? 😉 That summary certainly "shouldn't take long" 😉 Any tiny portion of that lady's union tenure would outshine the entirety of your or AOL's lifetime "contributions" tenfold...but...I sometimes forget the standard contempt such as yourself inevitably demonstrate for any other people's earned respect from past efforts and accomplishments.

If, as you imply, that implementation of PBS at AWA did not cause any job loss and would not do so here, in the event of a merger with AMR, then it should not be any "big deal" for Team Tempe to put those concerns to rest, with written guarantees. Yes?
