There you go breeze.

And breeze, did you get a chance to watch the vid of the 5/8 CLT crew news? I highly recommend the Change of Control and Integrating Pilot Group chapters.

Very informative but unsupportive of your hopes and dreams.

Oh, and your three way dreams are dead.
Do you not recall the PHX crew news video when when Mr. Parker said it would be a 3 way?

Davidson in 14! Come today. As usual, the only thing that moved2clt was handled by Kohler...........

Welcome back!

Thanks. Never really left. I still try to keep up with what's going on, because as I've always said, any merger/SLI precedent can have an effect on the CO/UA merger. But since USAPA got parked and the verdict is still out on the DJ, there's really not much to comment on. You guys have been doing a fine job keeping the trash in check.

Things have been busy on the UA front. Lots of meetings, picketing, grievances, etc. Lots of drama caused in part by the CAL master chairman. But now that everyone (CAL/UAL pilots) is once again on the same page and ALPA National is petitioning for release from mediation to a cooling off period, things are back to the "wait and see" mode.

So... more time to come and visit with you guys! 😀

I believe that Parker's statement was in regards to talk of a possible DL or UA merger. An off the cuff statement made without consideration of all the facts, and prior to the 9ths ruling and/or at least the education he gained via letters of intent from the AOL attorneys, and how the West would proceed against any collusion between usapa and the the company to avoid the Nic.

What the east has failed to recognize, and the glaring hole in Seeham's false hopes plan, is that the Nic has to be "ratified" into existance by vote in a joint contract. Simply not true. Both of our current contracts and the TA guarantee the Nic as the combined seniority list. In order to avoid the Nic, usapa would actually have to negotiate with the company for new terms to our existing contracts and the TA.

In other words, if a merger were to occur prior to usapa and the company making changes to the TA, (changes likely to be a failure of the DFR to the West) the Nic is currently the combined seniority list of our current, already "ratified" CBAs.

Cleary stopped the Franke disciples dead in their tracks. Imagine, the disciples are actually going to have to play by established rules and earn their spot rather than steal them. What an entitled group. The rest of the industry shudders at the machinations of Frankes henchmen. There will be no move to CLT. Ever.

This board would be sooo boring if it were not for the likes of idiots such as yourself.

The only thing Cleary stopped dead in its tracks, was the possibility of significant gains for the pilots of LCC.

Next time an insignificant officer of an insignificant failure of a union accuses the CEO of the corporation of using furloughs as a negotiating tactic, the best advice for the membership would be to recall the very short moron, and send him back to the line pulling gear for anyone who has not put him on their no fly list.

Did Cleary get his 90 days vacation out of usapa. Or did Hummel and the BPR tell the loser to get back to the line and earn the lousy LOA93 pay he has forced his membership to remain on?

Move 2 ?,
To answer your post # 21 question, yes I do and many more Easties. Sans the weak sister " Let my Daddy Vote " & " I've got mine.....screw You " Easties. I've no excuses for these limp d**ks.

. Time to move on.

Cute FA - another drive by kool aid induced bile movement from someone who is sans the cajones to reveal his identity on this forum.

Turns out the REAL weak sister in all this is the outfit we have been sending our dues money to these last 48 months.

Time to move on is right.

It seems that bitter calls to move on seem to most often spring from an impatient minority.

Compass Correction Coalition Update (All Aboard....last call!): May 15, 2012

In the next three days, the Pilots of the PHL Domicile are going to decide the future course of USAPA's members. By electing Jamie Weidner, we seamlessly continue and build upon the stunningly positive changes brought about by the recent National Elections. The tremendous improvements in the quantity and quality of communication from USAPA Headquarters and our Committees, the businesslike, professional and effective working relationship with the management of the airline and the spirit of cooperation among the various Domiciles, east and west are all at stake. If we choose instead, Jamie’s opponent, we will return to the divisive, isolated, paranoid and pugnacious past; it really is that simple.

Jamie Weidner equals progress; his opponent is a blast from our recent past of a failed union leadership. We may not care in the least for Mr. Parker and his style, but his management team is leading this freight train toward his vision of the airline’s future. We can either get on board, insisting that we help control the speed and select which track we follow, or we can again try to stand on the tracks and yell, “stop!” We no longer have the luxury of time to see when or if obdurate and contrarian strategies will eventually bend the company to our will.

It is really simple! USAPA must have a dialogue with the Company if we are going to be part of the merger process. Prior to April 18[sup]th[/sup], we did not have any type of dialogue or solutions. Under the leadership of the new USAPA Officers, we find many of our restaffed committees hard at work, a cautious dialogue with Company managers, and the resolution of issues that should have been previously addressed.

If you doubt the direct correlation between the unhappy recent history of USAPA and Weidner’s opponent, Mr. Music, consider this; certain individuals have been contacting PHL pilots, urging that those pilots vote for Paul Music. This would be fine, except that somehow, these advocates for Music are phoning the PHL pilots, using a list of phone numbers known only to US Airways management, and USAPA. You can imagine that the company would be loath to provide such a list of private phone numbers. So, I leave it to you, the PHL voters, to work out in your minds who would have had access to your private numbers, available only at USAPA headquarters or your PHL leadership and why they would provide them to partisans of one candidate, against another?

By the way, if you are reading this and have had a light-bulb go on in your head, let us know at the Compass Correction Coalition. Those of you who have had such an unsolicited political phone call, on a private number, rest assured, we will follow up with the appropriate, interested parties.

Now, the above paragraph is only intended to illustrate the difference between the steady, honest and hardworking candidate and the “team” who are working to bring us back to a time when little got done for the Line Pilot, but plenty was done for those on the inside.

Please, if you haven’t voted yet, vote for Jamie Weidner. If you have voted for Mr. Music, it is a simple matter to change your vote, until Thursday, 2pm EDT; after that it is too late!

This is a very important election and your careful, informed vote will determine the direction this union takes. Do we move forward to a new day, a new culture, and success, or do we return to the past 3 years of “nothing?”

We are either driving the American Flyer, or we can all watch the train wreck.

Wow. Great post by an east pilot.

Looks like that term sheet is going to become our contract by a landslide.

Hmmm, are you claiming to be party to 1 of 2 groups I mentioned thus seemingly insulted by my " drive by " ?
Perhaps both or a ER/WM fan of the CCC as they spew their mis-info in post #40?

Paul Music is a great choice and will most represent every Phl pilot I've ever met!

It seems that bitter calls to move on seem to most often spring from an impatient minority.

Impatient??

Using my best East impersonation (no offense East):

In the context of the four dimensional space time universe which you and I happen to inhabit, what do you consider a reasonable span of elapsed time for evaluating and subsequently judging the efficacy of our collective bargaining agent?

I'm not bitter. I'm optimistic. APA will soon put us out of our collective misery. If they don't, we won't be impatient - we'll end up in-patients.

I'm sure Paul Music is a fine man. But whether you are in the Cleary camp or the Hummel camp, I believe whatever we try to do is simply too litlle, too late.

Problem is we're camped out on a beach with a suddenly receding tide and a tsunami in the harbor, while we argue over who washes the dishes.
