Using my best East impersonation (no offense East):

In the context of the four dimensional space time universe which you and I happen to inhabit, what do you consider a reasonable span of elapsed time for evaluating and subsequently judging the efficacy of our collective bargaining agent?

After the cascading, cyclical, successful retreats that we have experienced for decades, with ever increasing momentum toward the bottom, it is indeed difficult to think that merely being extracted from the bowls of a wood chipper is progress.

What exactly do you dislike about our constitution? Or more to the point, what in the APA constitution has persuaded DP to offer such "successful" terms that he has the APA singing about the fresh, invigorating, strategic planner... the most high savior known since the Wrights invented heavier than air manned flight?

I'm not bitter. I'm optimistic. APA will soon put us out of our collective misery. If they don't, we won't be impatient - we'll end up in-patients.

The APA is your savior (and you are presumptuous enough to suppose them "ours"). We may be surprised at the level of altruism within the APA, but we can at least hope that the APA saves someone.. Well at least the very most senior guys.. because.. everyone has the promise to be senior someday.

Wizards Woody and Eric fail to realize a foundational premise to all unionism... Unionism is always an effort of a selected self-promoted few to herd cats to achieve a revolt of the have-nots against those that have, while the select few parade themselves as part of the have-nots they seek to lead.

It is hard for wizards to pretend they are part of the have-nots if they are a captain on the A330 and 767 (and over age 60 too :blush: ). But I do appreciate that they think they can persuade us they have our best interests at heart, especially since they will be a lot like Christopher Bebe, departing to live elsewhere while the rest of us live under what they set in motion.

To answer your post # 21 question, yes I do and many more Easties. Sans the weak sister " Let my Daddy Vote " & " I've got mine.....screw You " Easties. I've no excuses for these limp d**ks.

If we just let the hardliners run things maybe we can negotiate a contract less than what the company is offering us again.

Maybe this time their attempt to keep us from voting will be successful.

It is painfully obvious that we have a sect of AAA folk who want / deserve a pay ( who are not hurt by Nic ) raise and are carrying a grudge from their impression of Cleary. Commenting on Cleary is totally irrelevant at this time with our new leadership. Let's move on!
My circle of AAA folk are quite pessimistic of GH and good questions can be raised of his tenure thus far. If there is a strong CCC influence as some believe , then all the more cause for concern.
If their the majority as our new runoff election may show this week, then so be it.
My take is: Paul Music openly writes of his willingness to REPRESENT the Phl pilots!
That will be his first priority as it is supposed to be.
JW has plainly shown from his vote record and CCC puppet string marks his intent.
JW in NO way represents me.

It is truly sad that even with the quicksand up to our ears we still have pilots who continue to think we have any fight left. Claxon continues to embarrass us and now we fight publically amongst one another. I can hear the west pilots laughing through their screens. Neither Paul nor Jamie can make a difference. We can't strike and the company holds all the cards and allows the APA to peek at them while we sit across the table trying to read their faces. I apologize for how weak we look. All we can do now is just hope for crumbs. If someone has an idea of what we can use as leverage I'd like to hear it. I watched the CLT video and can tell you it's not coc.
