Seajay, if this merger goes through and you're filling out that APA application. It finally may sink in who's representing you as your CBA.
In my contract called the TA, it states that with a joint contract with the company will implement the LEGAL NIC for all LCC pilots.
You might have heard this before seajay that currently usapa and possibly APA inherits our contracts? Maybe not if you're not paying attention and getting crew room sound bites to keep you funding an illegal quest proposed by the maybe soon out of business corrupt usapa.

All lists, at both AMR and LCC should be combined by DOH. Simply, let the chips fall where they may. I have no problem with that.

Have you not figured out that the AA boys want all of us below them? Not just the west. They dont care how old you are or when you will retire. Ask the TWA boys. APA is not going to agree to DOH because it puts to many pilots in front of AA pilots. They don't want you there for a day a week and moth or a year.
The APA does not care if it is west or east senior to them. They don't care about the Nicolau list and how it is ordered. They do care about DFR and how many "outsiders" are ahead of them. DOH is dead.
Figure that out or you are going to be severely disappointed again.
Don't forget it's going to be the APA in charge not usapa or Cleary.

I did not think usapa would get ALPA off the property. I reasoned that it would be close but favor ALPA.

In one of the few things I ever called right, I knew we were going to end up with usapa. The way alpo tried to strongarm the west, yet not go so far as to do anything 'to' us without our consent, only served to piss everyone off. The east because they weren't doing enough, and us because of the sleazy way they went about mollifying the east when it was them who pulled out of JNC. Not to mention usapa had a carrot that I figured many east pilots would be unable to resist.
I cringed when I'd hear some of our west guys say stuff like 'they don't have the cards...' etc. I remember thinking to myself, you sure about that chief? I dunno. Anyway, even though I was royally pissed off, I of course did vote for Alpo, and even manned the call center.
