Two faced?
Us: no one in the industry gets p.v.'s (personal vacation days) why should you get
Them? Gone!

Them: we get comp days you know we work hard and long!

Holidays!

Us: we get 5 a year! You chose to take the cuts that way!

Them: industry average is 8-10 a year we keep ours!

Feel free to post any other good examples for the yes voters!

Pay raises!

Us: we get 3% at dos shut up and be happy!

Them: let's raise benefits cost by 17%,18%,19%,20% (that's what we will tell em anyway)

The special them's: $300-$600 million if they buy it!

They lowered our deductable from 1000. Per family member down to 750. Thanks?

But wait 2015 it starts creeping back up then in 2017 it goes to a family deduct of 2250.

I have been using 5 PV days since my second year at AA.

I have already used 4 this year and will use my last before the votes are counted.

now I think about it, this is one damn important reason i am voting no!

Guess you will be short on next years allotment by however many hours you have used. Damn Informer, its only July and you have smoked through that much VC?

What is the value put on PVs?
What could they really save with it I've been in the hole since my second year just like everyone that uses PV . It's just a punishment like the 3 month rotation that everyone rotates even the guys that want to stay on second shift. I would love to see what they really think these are worth cause in reality they are worth nothing but yet they clam they are

I am really not happy in this environment. I would rather mow my yard than go to work.

I suspect there are many that dont use PV's like I do.

And once they took another week away, the cost savings for that would not be gained if everyone started using PV's.

The value is a 2% paycut no matter how you add it up.

You don't have 30 yrs of service in Informer, how is this a paycut for you?

I have 29 this year and it is a 6 year contract.
Add it up

In one more year I would have gotten the extra week.
One week of paid time off is a 2% paycut because to get the same paid time off I will have to "buy" the flex week,

that would be 5 weeks of pay over the length of the agreement.
Over a month of pay.

Get it now?

Nothing has changed! Has any body got their ballot in the mail? Who at the international is in charge? I'll bet the international has hidden that person away. A vote no, means only we have to continue to negotiate. The company wants only to scare the hell out of hard working people and families at this company. They are making money as we speak, crying poor to the judge at this time looks pretty weak. If they abrogate, any deal they impose on us lasts only until we leave bankruptcy and negations would resume under the NMB. If we are not settled, it means less money in managements pocket. We must not rollover. We must force the merger on our terms and make the palace dwellers in Dallas take a deal with a lower return than they expected. We must vote no on this insult of a TA and yes on AMFA. Lets hope we can stick together.
