No dollar amount, no factor for a share, and no count as to the number of mechanics and related who will share. They have though, told us that the IBT- teamsters- have filed a lawsuit on behalf of all you West mechanics , to get your "share" though. Now it appears that the profit sharing will be tied up in litigation for several years

TOTAL B.S. The teamsters haven't done much for you while you paid them dues, why would they do anything now.
I can see how the law suit would read: I'm filing against the IAM because they are not including me in contract provisions of a contract that I am not working under. Give me a break. You guys out west deserve profit sharing, but not out of the wallets of the east mechanics. Sorry, just the way it is. 🙁 Parker should be paying your fair share!!

Calling the company's approach "political" is too nice. It's much lower than that. The company (Al Hemingway(sp))knows exactly the trouble they'll cause by not extending the funds to provide for the West side, yet at the same time continually verbalize as if the profit sharing will include all employees systemwide. Quite disingenuous of them.

AWA wasn't on the U map until single carrier was established....U emp's gave all for the companies survival and should get it all IMHO...but to keep it somewhat together.....there is some bending to accomadate the westies.They are lucky.

The company or the union should ante up to smooth things over, not the rank and file.
Again if the west is living under our contract then so be it, if not then again so be it.
