m&r profit sharing

keeping your job is our gift.....
Just for the record, we had our jobs before the AWA/US AIR merger. You had nada to do with us and we will still have our jobs when the merger is finalized. Why don’t you put your efforts in making this merger successful instead of trying to raise the ire of other readers?
 
The Slam Dunk Was Denied (IMHO) If Parker was able to get DELTA a NON-UNION AIRLINE he would have been able to Hold Off any and all UNION CONTRACTS by going NON-UNION.

Can't agree with you on this. Had the DELTA takeover been successful, DP would have let the NMB determine WHO the representing body would be; as they did with AWA/US Air, they would have sided with Delta being the largest work force; much larger than US Air/AWA combined. As ticked off as Delta was, there is no way they would have voted for IAM, IBT, or AMFA or anyone else. Delta believes that they do not need UNION representation, period. DP would have dug in his heels and drug out any negotiations and that would have meant another 3-5 years to reach any type of agreement. This is exactly the same thing he has been doing for almost two years with the IAM. That is why there is still a EAST vs WEST issue at the present time as well as no transition agreement for M&R. Everyday that an agreement is delayed, the company profits; at our expense.

What so hard to see on this? IF the Company was to MERGE or Have DELTA show as the ACQUISITION of US Airways Inc. and America West Airlines Inc. and form a new Parent Company from US Airways Group Inc. (LCC) and Delta Air Lines Inc Lets say Delta Airways Group Inc. (LCC2) And here we go again (PAY FREEZE) while the company WAITS to see if they have to go into negotiations with Union or NON-UNION Employees or as they did with the AWA/US merger with what union. This brings back memories from December 1995 what we at AWA call BLACK FRIDAY! The company did a good job on selling the employees the We Will Take Care Of You, You DONOT NEED A UNION and they did! (We lost the vote to go UNION with the IBT by 7 votes I think and the company Closed the Hanger and let go 500 MX employees and FARMED-OUT ALL C-CHECKS.) (BRASS TUBA) As I said the WEST UNION MEMBERS have gone through the past 10 years with the same boss as the new boss just a new name on the door same GAMES and TRICKS. (LEARN FROM ONE ANOTHER). They aren't going to let a Non Union body determine the fate of other merged unionized carriers.
How can you have a non union body be determined to be the representing body?
Its all in the numbers Dude....and between the three combined carriers,it would have to be gone down to a vote for representation between the workers of the three carriers.That how the laws says it will go.
50% plus one between the combined just like the Teamster/IAM representation vote... 😉

But as I remember all the IAM boys on here said if we had a vote for IAM or IBT they were afraid that we would be Decertified as a union do to the lack of east union members involvement or participating in a vote. I guess this only works when the IAM wants to scare the members..? But what do I know. :lol: :lol: Have a good one my IAM brothers. :up:

We must resolve to work safely to a point that the company will not profit at our expense. They shouldn't profit at all. If I can't get paid then neither should they.
 
I heard there as a phone number we could call for our individual profit sharing amounts. That they have already figured out how much w are going to get depending on our last years earnings. Does anyon know anything about this?

Someone needs to tell the FLIGHT CREWS to wright-up the Aircraft in Outstations were there are no Parts or Spare Aircraft to Swap and Maintenance can go on Road Trips. (This hits DP in the pocket book.) ALSO AS A NOTE: If going into a OUTSTATION by a A320 Flight Crew, the Crew was to Visually Notice a Engine SURGE. As The Engine does not monitor or record those parameters but it Requires a full bore scope Per the TSM (Trouble Shooting Manual) to check out the eng.( 2 hours to cool down and a road trip by MX good 6-8 hr down time min. 🙄 Some times we can learn from one another!! :shock: Have a good one my UNION BROTHERS! And buy the way we don't support job actions. :lol: :lol: :lol:
