Major Announcement

Who would have ever thought that we might have wanted Stephen Wolf back? I'd vote for him!

While he wasn't the most personable guy (we've all seen what personable guys have done for us, right?) he did have a vision for a top notch airline - and had the ability to pull it off (if even for a short time).

I totally disagree. Wolf was every bit as bad as Parker. He never wanted to run an airline, he wanted what would be perceived to be a top-notch airline simply to fetch a higher price for his stock options.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gangwal back, though.

Hi Everyone,

Your favorite company communications guy chiming in. Doug isn't resigning and has said publicly several times that he's here for the long haul.

Hope everyone is winding down after the busy holiday week. Please drop me a line if I can be of help to you.

Thanks,
Morgan Durrant

THANX MORGAN!!!!!!

The December announcement is the one that they said was going to be announced in October, which was really going to be announced in November but they didn't get it right so had to have it redone.

Anyone hear that there is going to be a major announcement on 12/4 ? Rumor is that Parker is going to resign.
I am so glad you get a kick out of making stories up, just for a popular post. Now look what you started!

"Fly A2B - It's all we can do consistently......."

Rakesh Gangwal
Oh

Paleese...

Rakesh......?????

That would be the worst of the worst....

I would die first...

He is gone.... for good.... he was the death of us back in the first BK... then second... he is gone for good...

How would Rakesh be bad?

When he was at UA he was the man responsible for getting them their LHR routes and expanding the Pacific.

When he was in charge here at US Envoy was winning awards, we expanded Europe and the Carribean.

After 9/11 he came to CLT and met with all the unions leadership and management, I was there.

You cant BS sincerity, he knows how to run an airline and was good to the employees.

When they moved all the work checks and engine changes from GSO to CLT and the mechanics were doing this work outside in the elements as the heavy mtc hangar was full, he came down and he was shown what was going on, a month later he approved the line mtc hangar being built so the work could be done inside without the elements.

Also we were allocated some new equipment after the CLT MTC Task Force proved to him for the need, the beancounters would not approve all the allocations, so we called him and Rakesh made sure we got EXACTLY what we needed.

He was an airline person and a people person.

I would take him over any CEO we ever had.

Also Rakesh left US before they filed chapter 11, Siegel was CEO and Lakefield was CEO when US filed the second time.

Don't let the facts get in your way.
